Taqueria Don Felipe

Definitely my favorite taqueria on Mile 5 rd. or "la calle del taco," how locals stared calling it a few years back. Competition is literally right next door but the seasoning used here is what keeps you coming back.I normally get an order of maiz tortilla tacos which consists of 5 tacos, I ask for three of "trompo" and two of tripe. They come with cilantro and onions of course, you can ask for grilled onions as well which I always ask extra of. The tortilla is nice and firm a bit soft and with a great corn flavor. The trompo was amazingly tasty and tender, add a good squeeze of lime (mouth waters) to truly satisfy your palette. The tripe had a medium gamey taste soft texture as well, very delicious.I like to mix it between their red and green salsa in every taco but the red is by far my favorite. It's extra spicy just how I prefer it. The green one has an avacado base, good too but very mild spiciness.Service is great here, I recommend this place over any other taqueria in the area any day!

Could be worst but i cant rate zero Stars! skip it trust me!! We ordered the churros n they were served cold! ‍‍‍

Not going to lie, but their food is absolutely yummy. I love ordering the bistec taco combo. It comes with charro beans, a coke, a baked small potato, and four tacos. I also like buying their warm churros with jelly filling! Only down side is that customer service is sometimes terrible. You might get unlucky and get a waitress who doesn't pay attention to your food. Also be on the look out for any additional charges to your order. I had been charged twice the same day and had to call the taqueria to fix it. The waitresses also tend to keep the change if you don't ask for your change back. They get a 3/5 from me.

Awesome place for tacos in the valley! It all depends on what you order but I really liked the pork trompa with melted cheese and the fajita entera with melted cheese. They also open late and there plenty of parking and seating. Indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is very quick and orders come out at a reasonable time, even on busy hours. I haven't tried anything else on the menu beside trompa and the fajita entera, make sure to get it with melted cheese so it's extra tasty!

Since I was a kid I loved don Felipe the good food never disappoint and there waiters are amazing but not as much as the food

Sat on the patio and ordered. Never got our Margaritas. All the food came out at separate times. Tacos were meh. Beans and Menudo were good. They lost our ticket and it was an ordeal to pay and get out of there......Sure wanted that Margarita.

They won't accept card for order by phone. Manger very rude unprofessional don't go there.

honestly so upset they didn't let me cancel and order forced me to pay honestly really bad I need to speak to the manger or something it's a whole mess in there

La verdad este lugar ya no vale la pena la carne de trompo está horrible yo pedí una sincronizada y solo me comí la mitad por que realmente es desagradable antes me gustaba venir a este lugar ahora no, la verdad es horrible el trompo estaba casi crudo y la sensación que te da al comer algo así es horrible asquerosidad definido en una palabra

Food is trash , beens are uncooked , salsas are expired , never going there again I do NOT recommend this place at all
