Don't expect to eat inside. You are only inside long enough to order. There are 2 picnic tables outside or you can take it to go.As soon as you walk in you see a counter with a register and nice lady rolling out dough for flour tortillas. I only had 2 breakfast tacos and they were everything I need in a breakfast taco. The tortillas were fresh, the eggs and meat were scrambled up right after I ordered and I had my choice of red or green salsa. I was hoping to find some good seafood while in Rockport but this little dive was definitely the star of the trip food wise.

This was my first time here, it's a tiny lil hole in the wall type place. There is no indoor seating just a picnic table out front but the waft of air coming from Albys seafood makes it impossible to sit outside and enjoy your food with the stench of fish. We ordered 4 dozen tamales for Christmas, and while we were there we got the #8 carne Asada and cheese enchilada plate to share. We brought it home. The best thing about the plate was the authentic rice. The enchiladas were pretty bland, the beans were dried out and worst of all the carne asada was over cooked, hard and dried out leaving the meat with a crunchy quality. I'll update my review later about how the tamales turn out after our holiday party, hopefully they are better than the Asada

My two breakfast burritos were brought back to my hotel room- so I cannot review the location.I was told it is a cozy little joint under the shadow of a large oak tree, and the that service was very friendly. The burritos were a hefty size and rolled tightly! The delicious mixture of eggs, bacon, and potatoes stayed neatly inside the tortilla. A big plus for a messy eater such as myself ~The salsa I was given on the side came with a warning: Spicy. That warning is not enough!Oh. My. Goodness. That is some HOT salsa.I enjoyed my breakfast very much!

I was expecting more. No spice in the food. The food was served warm, not hot. Tortillas must have been old - they were hard around the edges. Even the sweet ice tea tasted like it had stale ice in it.Very disappointed.

My family and I were disappointed. We ordered basic bean and cheese tacos and it look as if they used slice of cheeses you use for sandwiches and the beans were no longer good.

Delicious authentic homemade food. Locally owned and operated. If you're looking for real Mexican dishes, this is the place! I had the tamale platter, which for $6 was a ton of food. Three freshly made tamales, rice, beans, salad and tortilla. The women who operate the place were super nice. I'm definitely going back to try their other dishes!
