Tacos La Vaquita

The staff was friendly. Cute little restaurant. They can bring the food to your car. The trompo was fire! Beans were pretty good. Bistek was tasty.

Food was awesome the place was clean and the ambiance was comfortable and fellt like we were eating at home. Great staff.

If you haven't had the tacos from La Vaquita, I recommend them 10000% they're a must, their potato is also great, I've never had any issues here and their salsa is always on point. I will continue to get food from here whenever I am in the area.They catered a wedding of a friend of mine, and they were just as awesome.

Being that I grew up in this town, you already know I've tried pretty much every Mexican food place in town over the years, but since I now live out of town...I have to resort to having family tell me where the better places are nowadays.Well, on a recent trip down for some family business, we decided that we wanted some really good "street tacos" before heading back to Houston. My sister mentioned this place to me, so we stopped by to have a bite and we were not disappointed at all. We used to go to this place in Harlingen because they were usually pretty good, but this little hole in the wall absolutely beats that other place who's name we will not mention.

We were in the neighborhood and ran across the add on FB. It's self proclaimed to be the number one Taco joint in San Benny so I had to drop on in! Tacos La Vaquita is a small taco joint a bit of ways from the highway but they're worth the small drive. The tacitos are small but they're cheap. You can get an order of 5 tacos with an order of beans and a drink for $6.50. That alone is hard to beat! The tacos are good. I'm a sucker for everything trompo so i was pleasantly surprised to see that they cook their trompo in the traditional manner on a spinning, roasting rack. It lends a better flavor when cooked this way and also allows for thinner slices of meat that'll melt in your mouth. If you do decide on eating the trompo tacos, your ganna want to order about 10 because these guys are extra small. The ranchero beans are killer delicious, do get a cup of those bad boys.

Delicious taquitos for a great price! I ordered three tacos de bistec with an order of charro beans and they didn't disappoint. Always make a stop here when I'm visiting my family. If you're looking for a great taco spot in San Benito and don't want to drive all the way to Brownsville, come here!

First time for breakfast there , felt the place needed some cleaning and a good fly control. what a disappointment.First I asked for my eggs over hard and there were runny Greasy potatoes no bacon slices just chopped bacon and no toast bread. There was 3 waitresses just talking and ignoring customers. They might be good for tacos mexicanos but have to improve there morning shift a lot

They have take out only. I had never been there before and so glad I did. Their charro beans are super good. I ordered the order of taquitos and they were fully loaded. The seasoning on the meat was delish. I'll definitely be back.
