Customer service is great; tables are spaced for social distancing, dining area and restrooms all very clean. Food is prepared when ordered and fresh. The traditional tacos come either steak, mixed, or tripa. Not your Tex-mex type of food, but traditionally prepared. Very good, and highly recommended. The sauces bring a nice touch of subtle heat, not overwhelming, but add a nice balance with the seasoned steak, fresh cilantro, raw onions, and grilled onions.

Tacos are very good! I ordered traditional tacos mixtos which was a combination of bistec and tripas. The meat and tripe had a very good flavor to them. The order comes with frijoles a la charra and cebolla asada. The tortillas were especially good, they didn't have to double them up like in other places because this small tortilla can stand on its own. My dad ordered the tacos colorados and they were good and tortilla was nice and crunchy. Salsa was good, although I prefer spicier. Overall great place to eat tacos. They also sell beer, so if you like to have a beer with your tacos, this might just be the place for you.

Either white or yellow tortillas Are great! If you want to try a little of everything ask for "la bomba". And don't forget to get frijoles charros, they're the best! Try the tacos Colorados too!

Tacos Alex never disappoints. I ordered the flour piratitas with a Mexican coke. Very popular place to order from the guys at work.

The best tacos in Starr County by far. Their frijoles rancheros are cooked with chile pico de pájaro/chile de árbol &&& gives it a kick. (make sure they are fresh) Recommend: tacos mixtos w tortilla amarilla Or tostada tradicional mixta
