We have hit this location a couple of times. It is convenient to the border and the food is fine...Here is the problem, they have NEVER gotten our order right. What is with that? Not like the food is complicated.

Ordered a pirata and the taco literally only had like 4 thin fajita slices and the rest was just beans. Disappointed that the food keeps getting more expensive and the amount of meat is decreasing.

I have never been a Taco Palenque fan, I believe is expensive for few food, anyway. Nevertheless, the food and the service was excellent at this time. I am rating this occasion with 1 start, because the staff manager did not respect a promotion ongoing and advertised all over the restaurant (inside and outside), while I was attending this location. The promotion stipulates a specific item, for a specific price, and for unlimited time regardless days of week or time of the day. The manager's excuse was that overnight staff are in charged in order to hang all advertising and that the promotion was been ready for next day. Even when I was paying, the same promotion was announced on a screen next to my register, but the manager still refusing to respect what it was advertised. I believe that managers and staff should be aware that customer is ALWAYS first and what it matters the most. Whether promotions are being ready for a specific day or made by a specific staff, a customer should be less affected.

Taco Palenque has always been my go to place. But all my recent experiences while purchasing food have been a complete let down. The fajitas no matter if they're beef or chicken seem to have been there for a good while. Always hard and overcooked. I've tried different locations but all with the same dried and old fajitas. I'd always say you can never go wrong with taco Palenque but not anymore. Not sure if it's management or lack of care from employees but seems like they've lost their touch. Completely grossed out!!! The guy making the tacos was not wearing gloves and was picking his teeth while making the tacos. He was eating the food that fell of the spoon while making the tacos, putting his fingers in his mouth. I was waiting in the drive though and saw him do this 5x. Nastyyyyy
