Sylvia's Mexican Restaurant

I was looking for a hole in the wall place that has since closed and I stumbled upon Sylvia's. I'm so glad I did. Perfect tortillas, immaculate levels of spice, fair prices, exceptionally friendly staff, fast service, and the whole place is clean as a whistle. Do yourself a favor.

The drive through is quick and fast even if you forget to call ahead. The food is all homemade and tastes great!

Came here the other day on my way through town and I'd definitely drive out of my way to come back! The carne guisada and papa ranchera tacos were great and the tortillas were perfect! Super cute little spot!

Was craving some good old ground beef crunchy tacos and found this place during my drive. Friendly waitress, clean restaurant, and the tacos were great!!! Exactly what I was looking

We were fortunate to stop here for somebreakfast tacos as we were passing through Stockdale. They were ready in a flash and were delicious. They were so good, we went back for lunch as we passed through town again on our way home. The chile rellenos were also delicious! The service is great and the prices are reasonable. Two thumbs way up for Sylvia's!!

Awesome. Can't drive through Stockdale without stopping by for some quality tacos. I recommend the carne guisada with cheese.

Oh gosh this is the best place to eat in Stockdale and the service is prompt and freshly made. Totally recommend the tacos and plates here.

Food good enough to sit in. Sylvia has been doing this 43 years I believe. Every trip to the area includes a meal here. Great prices, excellent food, friendly staff--what's not to like?

I tried Sylvia's today. I enjoyed the Mexican plate. It had good rice and taco, a chulupa and beef enchiladas. The refried beans were mediocre. I loved the sweet tea. Also the flour tortillas were nice and hot .

Best taco for the best price. Have been eating here since I was very young. Every-time I come to visit family I stop by and grab breakfast.
