Surfside Liquor

Liquor stores are funny things. When you're in need of a bottle, standards and expectations can go right out the window and you take what you can get. That's sort of how I'd describe Surfside. Not a ton of stock, nor variety really, but they have all the major genres covered, general mixers and will get you to the place you seek. Probably more of a three star for me living near Specs on Smith downtown in Houston, but you learn to fine the silver lining where you can in life.Oddly enough, they have a few nicer bottles of tequila too, I assume the owners fancy. Staff are generally helpful, and always chatty. Just know going in that they've got the standards, you supply the recipe, and good times.
