Surfing Crab Express - Victoria

It would get 5 stars except, one raw oyster was bad, and we sent it back, and they never even bothered to replace it. And they brought "butter," but it was obviously margarine or a mix. I'm highly sensitive to seed and soy oils so I can smell it. Also, it had no milk partials in the bottom, and as it set on the table and cooled, it didn't cloud over.. deffo, NOT BUTTER. The food was delicious, but I'm a bit achy today, probably from fake butter used in the cooking. We were afraid of the Express on the sign and almost didn't open the door. I mean, express seafood? But we opened the door and had hope, looked at the menu, and set down. It was not an EXPRESS it was a real seafood restaurant.It would be perfect if they didn't use fake butter.. the server actually thought it was butter,I find many servers will swear its real butter, but they actually don't know.

An abundance of servers-unfortunately all visiting with each other. Ordered fried oysters. They were absolutely disgusting with some kind of green goo inside them. Our server brought the "chef" to talk to us. He insisted that they were fried oysters and the green stuff was normal. Uh no-nothing normal about green gooey oysters. Will not go back.
