Surfing Crab Cajun Seafood Boil

I stopped by for lunch around 3 PM today, during the quiet time between lunch and dinner. It wasn't busy, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. My companion was on a mission for crawfish and knew exactly what she wanted, while I opted for something different since I wasn't feeling a seafood boil.I ordered the Fried Calamari ($10.00), iced tea ($2.99), and Steak Fried Rice ($13.50). My companion went with water and 2 pounds of the Crawfish Boil in garlic butter ($26.00). Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. The server was friendly, attentive, and even recommended Yum Yum Sauce for my fried rice--great suggestion!The restaurant itself was clean and casual, with a full bar and large windows with adjustable blinds to manage the sunlight. It had a pleasant, laid-back ambiance, perfect for a casual meal. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience. I'd definitely come back!

Be ready for a line at the door. Once you get passed the line, the servers are all very set on giving you a great dining experience. Loved it. Very attentive and visited frequently. The food was great as well. Had snow crabs, lobster, and shrimp. A touch salty, but very tasty nonetheless. The restaurant is dark inside so be prepared for that. Looking forward to coming back!

The seafood boil place was really good! The service was very friendly and very attentive. One seated our server was very helpful very knowledgeable and very kind during our time. The food was delicious (they offer to shake the bag for you to get all the seasonings or they can keep it at the bottom if you prefer). The place is really great for single dining. If you wanna sit at the bar or they have a large tables for families. It is a noisy atmosphere. There is a constant buzz going on, but once the food comes out, everything gets very silent.

Came here for dinner on a weekday and it was good! We had never been here but heard good things. We got the fried rice, daily special, and the half/half fried basket. Really good sized portions and everything came out quickly! Lots of sauces, lots of butter, lots of salt, but tons of flavor. Definitely recommend if you're craving seafood!

BEWARE THIS RESTAURANT GAVE ME E.COLI.I dined at this restaurant 8/5/2024 around 4:30pm. I ordered a pound of shrimp which came with 2 pieces of corn and potato. I thought the shrimp tasted off, but I ate it all because I trusted the restaurant buys fresh shrimp. Less than 3 hours later I am violently ill and throwing up the shrimp from both sides. I go to the hospital where they diagnose me with infectious E. Coli. Now I'm on antibiotics and Bentyl due to stomach aches and spasms. DO NOT EAT HERE AND RISK GETTING SICK!

Yes yes yes!! One of my favorite places in San Antonio for seafood broil. It's always busy but you know that's a sign of a good place. Staff is very tentative and managers even walk the floor checking on customers. They have many options of flavors and level of spices so it fits anyones liking! Also, tried the gumbo and it was straight on point. If you gone already, add it to your list.

the food was so good. super worth the money. i'm so happy we went. we tried snoopys about 10 min away. their "boil" was a joke so we needed our seafood itch scratched and surfing crab did that. our waiter was super attentive and nice. only reason i didn't give it a 5/5 was because i got the creamy garlic and it was super salty, like almost unbearable, and the butter tasted funky. other than that, so delicious.

Best Seafood Food Restaurant ;I've Ever Had, I Recommend The Half/Half Basket Of Flounder And The Sweet Potatoe Fries, Fried Rice And Fried Onion Rings Because It Hard To Choice As They Are Very Good To Eat I've Had As A Uber Eats Delivery Too; I'll Keep Them In My Favorites.

I visited this location to enjoy oysters and appetizers but was denied access due to my wife's service dog. This is a violation of Texas Human Resources Code, Section 121.002. The dog is specifically trained to assist my wife, who has Alzheimer's disease. According to the law, individuals with disabilities are entitled to be accompanied by their service animals in public places, including those trained to assist with conditions like Alzheimer's.
