SureStay by Best Western Victoria

2/7/2025 You can't judge this motel by its outside appearance. They have taken time to update the rooms here. I really didn't expect it. I will be back in a couple of months and I will look forward to staying here again.

I needed a place that was budget friendly, clean, and safe. This place fit the bill perfectly. Surestay by Best Western in Victoria is aged but well maintained. It is not luxury, but it is very clean and well managed. The parking is well lit. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is a large motel with doors facing the parking. There is a nice pool area. There are also ice and vending machines. The lobby has coffee all the time. I did not make it to the breakfast, so I can not comment much on that other than to say there was a Texas shaped waffle maker. My room was a suite with kitchenette including a 3/4 sized refrigerator, two electric burner stove, microwave, toaster, and kitchen sink. Nice for extended stays. The bathroom sink extended to the right from the kitchenette area and was well lit. No hair dryer that I could see, but plugs available. There was also an iron and full sized ironing board, closet and dresser. The toilet / shower or bath room was separated by a door and it had a loud but great functioning vent. Towels were modest but functional as well. Basic toiletries were provided. I thought the room was nice and comfortable. I did not need a golf course or spa, just a place to sleep. The price was very good. I'd definitely stay there again.
