Shawna is amazing and the only person who I go to for my hair!! She always makes me feel gorgeous and nails cuts and color. I've referred so many people to her to fix what other poor stylists have done to their hair and they are always so happy and go back. She is absolutely amazing and I love her!

Responded right away to email but there was no follow through. She said she'd call at a specific date and time but I no longer heard frim Shawna. I emailed and left messages. she didn't complete any services for me. I wanted to book her for an updo to a beach wedding and thought at least a phone call would be good to find out her expectations. Clean or dirty hair? Product or none? Etc.

Shawna was wonderful! She did exactly what I asked for and I absolutely love my haircut.

Do not hesitate on seeing Shawna! She is wonderful, from customer service to her actual work done on hair. Here is a quick summary of my experience at the Sunshine and Whiskey Beauty Bar:I set up an appt with her via text message, just two days prior as I had been a bit upset with my hair for a couple of months & had an instant urge to correct it. My hair had a balayage in it already, but it was brassy & needed a touch up + toning. She happily squeezed me into her busy day as I expressed my limited availability. I went to her salon the day of my appt & she was already there, so I did not have to wait on her arrival or anything of that sort. I explained what I expected from my hair & although I couldn't put it into words, she knew exactly what I wanted. Attached photos show the end result of a balayage touch up + toning & Brazilian blowout by Shawna herself. She took her time with me, was not in any rush, and her prices are very reasonable for her exceptional work, customer service, and her several years of knowledge/experience working with hair.I have been in search of a good hair stylist since my other one moved to a different city, so I have been bouncing around from stylist to stylist but I think I will be sticking to Shawna & recommending her to friends & family. She not only cared about my hair, but she cared about me too & it is difficult to find genuineness in this industry. Her work and personality are exceptional & I am so happy my hair turned out the way it did.. I was low key VERY nervous, as anyone would be allowing a new individual to handle their hair.Thank you again Shawna!!!!!!!

I came in today asking for a balayage. I came out with terrible blotchy highlights. The appointment was supposed to take 2 hours and ended up taking 3 hours because the first time came out terrible and more blotchy than it is now. She tried to redo it and still ended up bad. A balayage should look like natural highlighting. After speaking with two other stylists today who told me this isn't how balayage should look (which I already knew considering I've had this done twice before) I wrote her asking for a refund since both stylists recommend me to. She then insisted that I should come back so she can try to fix it but I will not go back in her chair after the work she did today. So now I'm out the original cost and have to spend more to get it fixed. I don't recommend this shop to anyone!! My three pictures is what was done to my hair.
