Sugar Tree Apartments

I have lived here for 5 years. No major complaints, the staff is cordial and accommodating. At this time, my only problem is accessing my login. This began 2 months ago, prior to that was no problem.

The leasing staff are angels, the maintenance crew is kind, and I loved how easy it was to move in here.

I absolutely love this complex. I have lived in 4 different places in corpus and I have never been happier. I have a very good sized one bedroom and have very very affordable rent. The staff is super friendly and the maintenance always comes the same day I put a work order in. Amazing !!!I had a roach problem at first but the staff worked with me to make sure it got taken care of!If I was staying in corpus after graduation I would live here !!! Very recommended !!!

Me and my husband have been trying to find a decent affordable apartment in corpus. Needless to say I would NOT recommend this apartment complex to my enemies. Cats roaming everywhere.There was rat poop in the cabinets( in the model) Awful Maintenance Gated but the gate is always open!Not well kept obviously But I will say the staff was friendly.

These apartments are horrible, they are filled with German roaches that leave the surrounding trees and enter the apartments. They have old 27 yr old AC units that don't work and they will not fix them. Get newer a newer apartment down the road from them!

I have lived here for almost three years. I love the staff here, from the front desk to the maintenance and grounds keepers. THe people here are what make my rating higher. Unfortunately, I have had a few issues, some which are still waiting to be addressed. I haven't lived in an apartment setting for over 20 years, so maybe I am being picky.

They lie about how much they charge you. The pictures they post do not, in any way, represent the dump you will rent. As others have noted, roaches, cracks in walls, unsanitary kitchen, and don't expect a view. The windows are junk and they're dirty, and all you'll see out of them is trash.The laundry room is filthy. I have told management about this. They don't care.They lie about what this place is, but they'll gouge you with fees every time they can.Avoid at all costs.

The people in the office are very nice but that doesn't make up for how disgusting the apartments are. The place is roach infested, there are no microwaves, in my apartment the paint on the door was scratched off. There is just so much! There is always dog poop everywhere on the the grounds and they only pick up trash Tuesday and Thursday but have the nerve to limit it to two bags a day. I'm incredibly happy to be moving out. DONT LIVE HERE!

The pool staff here are a##holes. So rude, and insensitive. They stared at me for 5 minutes, before yelling at me, "how the HELL did you get in here?" and ordering me to leave. Can't believe I pay almost $700 a month to live here.Oh, and a day later after the incident I received a note on my door BLAMING ME for the way I was spoken to by the pool staff. Well done, Sugartree, another customer service FAIL.

I have lived here a year and I shouldn't have renewed my lease due to the numerous amount of problems I have had but I had no choice since I didn't make other arrangements. The most recent occurrence just happened. I work 8-5 my ac was not working well last night I was going to call to have maintenance go check on it but I got busy at work forgot to call. I got home about 5:45pm my ac had completely froze and the panel that covers it was completely off the wall not sure how that happened. I call maintenance because they should be on call 24hrs I thought. I left a message and someone called back a few minutes later and this man basically told me that nothing could be done due to it being frozen. He also told me that I had to wait till tomorrow. I have 3 kids and I'm supposed to sleep in a hot apartment overnight comfortably? He said that they aren't allowed to work on ac's at night which is odd because this has happened already a few times prior and each time I called maintenance they came out to fix whatever was wrong at the time. I hung up on the man needeless to say packed up my 3 kids to go stay somewhere else since nothing can be done tonight to fix the issue. I will be glad when my lease is up here in February due to all the inconsistencies this apartment complex has.
