Spanky's Burgers

Burgers are really good, the wait time is not bad and the outdoors dining area is nice.

I followed yelp to check out Spanky's Burgers in Brownsville today. I got the Toro Loco Burger and it was delicious! A really hearty burger w grilled onions and jalapenos. The vibe was fun and inviting and the service was great. I can't wait to go back!

Excellent service along with quality burgers!., I've frequented Spanky's over the last few years and never had a bad experience, always a pleasant atmosphere. If you desire a delicious burger, you ought to give them a try!..

My husband and I were running errands and he was hungry and wanted something good and tasty and most importantly filling..he knew of this location but since it was outta our way on a daily basis we drove over and found it(not knowing the accurate location. So we went in and he ordered for both of us...it's clean and very spacious....the prices are great for the amount of food we got.... (Sorry I can't remember the names of the burgers we ordered because I'm writing this the day after ) But I kid you not ...if you go and try it out you won't be disappointed at all. Friendly staff and service.

This restaurant is for sure 5 stars in my book. Will rate it more if I could! The atmosphere is amazing. The owner is so kind and super hilarious! The cashier was so kind and helpful pointed out which one she likes the most and which one she recommended! My husband got the toro loco and it was BOMB! super Delicious and fresh. My Burger was the triple meat and I will definitely be getting that again. I totally recommend subbing your fries for the onion rings. They are so crispy and HUGE! they will see us again! They have a little bit of everything! Mexican, seafood, burgers, Phillies! Super delicious. Get that milkshake!!! You won't regret it. All the food is made with love. You can taste it! Thank you for having us!

The place is clean, the service is good, the prices are fair, quite an asdortment of burgers, probably the best in Brownsville. Go, you will not be disappointed.

Great burger spot, always fresh , good food and service, great spot for lunch , casual friendly environment

February 3, 2023:I've eaten here multiple times with my husband, and we thought this place could be a usual for us until my Rio Grande Salad had a cockroach in it. I didn't want to post this type of comment, but I was left without a choice when the managers refused to make it right. So there ya go guys, don't eat at Spankys because you might end up with cockroaches in your food.

Had stopped for a bite to eat and treat to go. Hamburger were really good but cooked through. Fried mushrooms were not what I expected but they were good. Onion rings were good. The shakes were amazing!! The gal who we ordered with and then brought out the food was stellar! She kept our toddler entertained and didn't miss a beat on anything we needed. Hope to be back on our next trip to the valley.

One of the greatest burgers I've ever had. Been back 2 time already and I will continue to have burgers here. Staff is awesome.
