Great hotel in the middle of oilfield country. They have a nice truck parking area out front, the staff is amazingly friendly, and they have a really good breakfast. This is one of the better priced hotels in the area with really nice large rooms and super comfy beds. I had a problem with my first room and I was immediately given another room no questions asked. This place is great.

Looks like a relatively new hotel in town! My friends and I were in town to investigate the old Yorktown Hospital and it was nice to have a decent place to stay. The double queen room was nice, clean, spacious, and nicely appointed. Coffee pot and mini fridge was nice to have as well as plenty of electrical plugs in the lamps. There is a small pool on site but was too cold for us to even think about.

We were told this was the only place in town so we booked it for 2 days. This place is such a let down it's nothing like the reviews on https://www.bookonline.com, the rooms were hot & untidy. The AC took forever to cool off the room when we arrived. Don't recommend at all.

Upon arrival, they gave us a room that had not been cleaned completely (dirty towels everywhere). Room 2-TV not working. Lobby guy messed around with it for a bit, but no. Room 3-AC barely working. Room 4- said it was a new AC. Took more than an hour to cool down the place. Water pressure in shower was comparable to a gnat peeing on one's head. Also, tepid water ONLY in the shower (no hot, no cold). I was trying to get cold water to soak my head to cool off. Nope. We arrived around 9:00 pm and by 10:30, we were able to finally shower. I'm 70, with 2 kinds of cancer, and my husband is 66 and disabled. We SWORE we would NEVER go there again, but Yorktown Inn was full and we were there on a family emergency. Our other visit at Southern Inn? It was much better. We only had to change rooms twice that time!
