South Lake Ranch Apartments

Our apartment is beautiful on the inside is amazing! But the spiders and the pigeons run this apartment complex. I call and call for them to spray down our stairs due to pigeons. I understand there has been a change in ownership ago that change was two months ago. I will give it to the apartment that's they do have a lot of apartment buildings and that they did spray the pigeons poop away 3wks ago but it needs to be a weekly thing done if they can't get rid of the pigeons. I literally just took these pictures and look at the buildup already of the pigeons poop.

They are quick and responsive to requests and tenant's needs. They are quick to return phone calls. I love the location. The traffic in the area isn't bad and it's close to my work and family. I love the lake. It's serene. I just renewed my lease for another year. Highly recommend!

RUN, don't rent here. The lake is good for people to walk around, too rough rocks for dog feet. They will tow your car without notice, say you didn't give 60 day notice when you did. I gave e mail notice July 20 that I was moving Nov 9, but since I didn't fill out their form, they say that I didn't give notice and will be sending my account to collections RUN, the new management is cruel to not just me but others here too. Charging over 7k if you move out 2 months early RUN

This place is very disappointing. I rented this apartment sight unseen as I was moving in from out of state. What a mistake. The stove top was disgustingly dirty and scratched beyond any possible cleaning. The storage unit had a pile of dog hair in it. At first I thought it was a dead animal. The dryer did not work. The current management team blames everything on the former management team. At what point do they take the blame on. They are refusing to replace the stove top. The outdoor hallways are completely trashed. I am paying over $1300 in rent and it is a slum. The lights in the pool area are burnt out and there are no bathrooms in the pool area. Where do you think people pee? Now I find out today that the new management team is going to expand the number of apartments in another phase which is ridiculous. They can't handle the apartments they have. This place sucks!!!Mark White

JUST SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, PAIN, AND MONEY, DON'T MOVE HERE. If I could give a zero I would, all of the previous post and information on this apartment complex is true. Spider infestations everywhere, horrible management/manager, lack of care or acknowledgement for the renters. I have lived here for a year and I finally understand all that I need to from this establishment. Looks like a lovely place right next to a man made lake, so beautiful and it's all a facade. The spiders are really bad especially when it's warm out they thrive in this climate. I've asked to have my place sprayed many times I apparently pay partly for it every month but I've never gotten anyone to actually come and do it. I ended up having to spray all of the nests by myself, I've come to realize doing it yourself or just making a temporary fix is also very crucial to this complex. You'll always be able to call the office and talk to the nice ladies at the front but almost always your request will only happen if the manager follows through on it and so nothing gets done. I've had a crack in my window since before moving into this place and have been told they are always working on it. Still yet to have had a person actually come and replace it. It's at least 9 inches long and cost a lot of energy. Today I went to talk with the manager to get things sorted and possibly fixed and she was not having it due to renters not wanting to understand the problem and didn't want to take any responsibilities for anything. South Lake Ranch Manager Shelby also flat out lied and blamed my Ac being out on the city and it's also not her job to fix it. The city that hired plumbers to fix water lines that's the cause of my AC being out. Currently I'm in my apartment sweating through my clothes because of my management continuing to not give me proper information needed to take care of my AC. This place could be amazing but I don't think that's possible under the current management.

This is a beautiful apartment complex in a quiet community which makes it very appealing. Unfortunately, the management of this facility is the worst I have experienced during my 15 years of living in apartment homes. I have lived here for nearly a year with multiple issues. Within the first week of moving in my dryer stopped working. It took me speaking to management to have a dryer from an unoccupied unit moved into my apartment, as they wanted me to wait several weeks until a repairman could fix the issue. Several months into living here the toilet in my guest bathroom stopped working, and despite several phone calls it took 2 or more weeks to fix. After maintenance came to my apartment it was a quick 5 minute fix, but the issue appears to be more with getting the staff to return phone calls and/or place the appropriate paperwork/work orders. I have had packages sit it in the office and food spoil, as there are no notifications of deliveries. Last but certainly not least is my experience with the move out process. I signed the move out notice MANY months ago. I have even stopped by the office and called as I keep receiving notices that my lease ends on April 15th, although I have stated numerous times that I will be here through the end of the month. Norma (who is no longer here) apparently misplaced the intent to vacate. During none of my conversations with various staff members regarding my intent to stay through the end of the month was I ever told that my notice was missing. I am now being held responsible for additional fees as my move out date has been extended since the notice to vacate cannot be located! I have called Myan management and the general manager with no return call. My best advice for those interested in this beautiful complex is to not be persuaded by the scenery until management changes to reflect the property.

Such an amazing community. The girls in the office were super helpful! I got to tour there community and was surprised to see they had a lake! I can't wait to move in.

Over priced ghetto. Can't say much more. It's obvious that the only concern is if the rent is paid on time, regardless of who's paying.

I regret leaving my old complex big time.... this complex is infested with spiders inside and out. My bf got bit on his neck and he had to take time off work and left him with a scar and recently my poor cat got bit and I had to take him to vet so it wouldn't get infected and become fatal:/ the management is horrible and rude they don't care about your well being they just want money money money. I pay over grand for one bedroom apartment it's not worth it at all! Webs in the apartment and also your car will be full of webs over night so have to be careful when getting in your car. Also if your looking for amenities don't bother, the pool not even open and pest control said there's rattle snacks and he found dead rabbits. For your safety of yourself, family, and pets don't live here. I'm hoping to get out as soon as I can! So do not waist your time and money and if you do visit look around and you'll see webs on cars and the building.
