Great shop with good attentive employees and excellent customer service. Came in and Devin immediately greeted us and asked if he could help. We only had an idea of what we wanted, beginner electric guitar, and he immediately listed some that we may be interested in including an approximate price range. Within 10 minutes we had exactly what we wanted and left feeling like we had the perfect guitar and accessories. The shop has an amazing local vibe but has a great selection with guitars all over the walls and amps, pianos, and other instruments/accessories covering the floor. Definitely recommend!

Who cares? This store and the employees due. Talked with the manager and told him I'm newer to 6 string acoustic guitars and that's where he started schooling me on countless do's and do nots. The knowledge and friendliness I experienced was outstanding cant find quality people like this at chain stores. Can't wait to go back

These guys installed the PA system in our church and did a marvelous job. Very professional installation and their recommendations for gear was spot on. We've had to take wireless mics to them in the past for service and typically would get the units back the next day if not same day. Great service. We needed a replacement charger for a Fender portable speaker system...got in within a week.I've personally bought my microphones here along with a Gibson acoustic. I wanted the action lowered ever so slightly and adjusted for my favorite gauge of strings and got my guitar back in a couple of days and it plays great. All in all, I've spent quite a bit of money here and it remains my favorite locally owned music store.

So I'll start this post by saying we are a music family. My husband enjoys playing the drums, cajón, and the bass guitar. My boys play piano, drums, xylophone, & cello. I just sing off key in the shower and while cleaning . My husband visited Sound Vibrations with the hopes of finding a new accessory to add to our music collection. He drove straight from San Antonio after landing in San Antonio from his travels. He entered the store with absolutely no greeting. Wondered the store for over 20 minutes looking at different items upstairs and down without none of the 4 employees on hand to give a syllable, Not One Word! For this store to be considered the place to go for instruments in Corpus Christi the service was deplorable!! I'm not sure if it's customary not to speak to people when they walk in or as the wonder through the store? I just can't believe the Lack of Professionalism. It's so sad. We moved here from VA hoping it was a hospitable place. I guess this store is proving that Not to be true. Shortly after the terrible experience, my husband traveled up the street to Guitar Center and he was in the store 30 seconds and received an immediate greeting. Sound Vibrations is a sub-par store in reference to customer service! Management needs to address that every individual that walks in the door is a potential customer. You knew know who people are! So please treat everyone who comes in with the decency of a "Hello".

This is a great local music store. I've had the exact opposite experience as two of the other reviewers. I've bought 3 guitars, 2 amps, various pedals and accessories and the staff was always courteous, helpfu, and knowledgeable. I've had bone nut and saddle installed, neck resets and pickup installations done and always been extremely satisfied with the craftsmanship and end results. I would recommend this store to any serious musician at any level if expertise. And no, I don't work there.

Came in with my friend to purchase a keyboard, amp and drum. Ended up getting a great deal on everything. Lorenzo spent a lot of time demonstrating, explaining and was helpful, super knowledgeable and not the typical 'sales' guy. He's fantastic! I've purchased several instruments from these guys over the years and they're consistently the same: courteous, helpful and give superior service. Says a lot to me. A musicians music store.

Huge top of the line selection of drums for sure!!! Guitars everywhere!! Very informative the drum guy was anyways!! That's what I'm looking for! Financing available! Huge selection of guitars! Check this place out!! I love it! Probably by my set there!

been going to sound vibes for years, always get treated with respect and courtesy there. bought countless guitars amps etc for my son over the years, now going there w my grandkids. I'll be nice Mark B YOU SUCK, Im sure they are sorry you walked in there as well....how do you know Robert Degraff is english?? LOL!!!!

Took my old Epiphone in for what I thought was a repair that I was dreading- the neck brace. Turns out all it needed was the bridge to be lowered. Their repair guy knew exactly what was needed within 30 seconds of looking at it. Obviously a master craftsman. They promised it in two days and delivered. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I brought in an acoustic guitar for a set-up and gave them an idea of what I wanted. When I returned I was disappointed to see that the guitar did not have the work done that I asked for (nut slots adjusted) and had the saddle sanded down so severely that the string barely cleared the bridge. The technician refused to admit there was even a problem. Taylor asked me to return and to try to have them fix it. They again refused. At this point I gave up dealing with them. Taylor sent me a replacement saddle, I bought the right tools, and did a better job on my first try than the "professionals" at Sound Vibrations did. I'm sure most people could deal with them with no issues, but I don't trust their work or their employees.
