Sonny's Barbacoa & Restaurant

Keep driving. Dropped by for a taco of eggs machacado. I asked the order takers if it was dusted with olive ad some places vary on how it's prepared. $3.75 for a taco and it was just eggs and dried beef. I added the green salsa. There are so many places like Chaco's, Jalisco, etc. Sonny's has lost its way

Great tacos! Stopped by while on vacation in Corpus. Barbacoa on point! It's a little "Hole in the Wall" place with a specialized and fairly efficient drive through ordering system--great service!

New to town went into this restaurant based on the good Yelp reviews unfortunately we didn't see the most recent reviews suggests it was bought out and the latest review all have the rating we are giving it today. Because unfortunately for us the food is over priced, salty and greasy ...huge disappointment

Small inside, But the food is fantastic. I'm glad my niece took me there, I've passed by the restaurant and would have never stopped.

Great breakfast taco. Pull up to the cones in the parking lot, and the attendant will take your order on a tablet. Once my order was placed I pulled up to the last cone and waited a minute for my order to be delivered.I ordered a bean egg and cheese breakfast taco with habanero hot sauce. They also had red and green. Unlike most, this hot sauce was reddish brown, not orange, and there was a generous amount. I slathered all of it onto my taco and dove in. The tortilla was soft and chewy, the filling was hot, generous, and balanced. The hot sauce was unlike any I've had in Corpus, or anywhere else, in a good way. It wasn't very spicy, but added an interesting flavor, almost beefy. Overall, I loved itIf you're a breakfast taco junkie, you gotta try Sonnys

I cannot even begin to put into words what a wonderful restaurant Sonny's is! Hands down the best barbacoa and chiccarones I've ever had! To make the experience even better the staff is so amazing! I go every two weeks, and they always great me with a smile. Know my name and order the minute I walk in. So nice to have a good family owned business that cares about their customers. Good food , good service and I promise you will leave with a smile on your face.

This place is great :) line moves super fast, and the lady who took my order was nice, very to the point though, which I respect! I got a handful of breakfast tacos for some friends, they were great I can tell the tortillas are homemade. Good ratio of fillings too, what really surprised me was the green sauce it was awesome it was fairly priced as well, nothing more I can ask from a taco spot

I think it's been bought out. Just ordered our pound of Barbacoa like we normally would. It's been a few months just because a drive for us but was on the way to Port A and thought we'll eat on the way. It's really really salty & it doesn't have that Barbacoa taste, just plain meat.

I ordered a combo of barbacoa and asked for green and breakfast salsa and they forgot to put it in the combo box. I was also charged for the ranchero salsa which goes best with the barbacoa and wasn't in the box. To top it off they didn't add the tortillas to eat the food. ordered multiple tacos and one was missing the add bacon to the taco. Called and spoke to Manager April made it seem like I was lying and told her I would take pics and put it on the review. Tacos were well served but service sucks.
