Skillets

We came in for breakfast and it was so delicious, hot, appealing. I had two tacos. The tortillas were so tasty. My husband had biscuits and gravy. He loved them. Best he's found. The most impressive, the food was served hot. Service was excellent. The place was clean. Much better than the IHOP at the casino. The plates were big. You get your money's worth. Sorry no pics. I couldn't get my camera to work with me.

This place is good when you are craving an omelette with some biscuits and a pancake. Loved the omelette but I wish I could say the same about my chicken fried steak and eggs. I prefer not to dwell on it but that omelette made up for the chicken fried steak. A bit small on the inside as well as the parking lot.

This little spot was good. It was located on the same parking lot as our hotel, La Quinta. We "walked" over, no lines. Sat down & were greeted promptly by the waitress. Ordered our food, it was fast, hot, & fresh. Thank you all, very much. Not to mention it was cheap, compared to eating at the casino or the other breakfast places.The restaurant was stuffy thou. I`m guessing the vent a hoods werent working that day, idk? We liked it & plan on coming back to order other foods in the future.

We went to Skillets for the first time. It was a big filling breakfast. The eggs were decent. I think the biscuits were the most impressive thing - they were so fluffy. I was a little disappointed with the pancakes. The color was perfect but they were a little denser and chewier. My husbands omelet looked really good though . So overall it was your typical diner restaurant. Good but I was not blown away.

Staff is rude. Waitress told us off because we didn't see the please wait to be seated sign and sat down

The skillets food is very homie. Like an IHOP's second cousin. I've been twice with my husband and once with my mother and all three time I was not disappointed by the food. The bacon is perfectly crisp. The toast is buttered on a whole other level. And you can tell the over easy eggs are always made with love!! Now for the reason the skillet earns two out of five stars is because the service! All three times my service has been beyond upsettingly terrible!!!!! You only have interaction with your waitress when she asks for your drink and food order and then once more when she's is bringing your order out (a billion years later). Other then that you are not checked on what so other. And when you stop them to ask for their service the attitude you receive in return is crazy shady. The environment is just extremely unprofessional.Our last waitress name: Ale A.

This place had me waiting 1 hr for my eggs and bacon. Not sure why my order took so long. Could they have gone to Mexico to get my eggs ? Possibly. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE. IF YOU WANNA WASTE YOUR MONEY. COME HERE.

An ok meal, as advertised by the menu. I give it 3-4 stars for originality, cleanliness, spacious and best of all, the excellent customer service. Yes, the food is average, but the coffee is hot and the service is excellent! I will return.04042023.

Although they indicated they were short handed the staff was very friendly and very prompt and the food was exceptional, I will definitely come back and id suggest others to do the same, ENJOY!!

Ever since I moved to Texas I have been looking for a place that makes a decent skillet. This place is by far the closest thing I could find. I recommend anyone who has never had a skillet to try Skillets.
