Shrimp It Up

We stopped in around 1245 on a Thursday afternoon. Only one other person in the restaurant. OMG! I'm sad we found this place on our last day of vacation. We've been in Port Aransas all week and I've had terrible luck finding any good seafood anywhere.This place was fantastic! The food was so wonderful! We especially loved the coconut shrimp. The prices were less than anything on the island. We all left completely stuffed and perfectly happy! Definitely! recommend!!

First off Walked in and this lady gave a go to hell look..Ordered food boiled shrimp was not good.. sent it backIt smelled so bad...!That was are 5th time.. we are done.. good luckMaybe a new staff that's Pleasant would be a start... just saying

It's very new, so it's not going to be harsh. The food was just ok. The cold boiled shrimp was way overcooked. Everything seemed to have the same spice profile, so it seems that every item was seasoned with the same seasoning. Unfortunately, all our dishes had something wrong with what we actually ordered. Again, I can attribute this to a new staff. We were told by a man sitting at the bar that "all shrimp is gulf and individually hand breaded." Based on the uniform size and shape, this was not the case. We did visit a week or so after opening, so we may give it another try.

Exactly what I was craving! Perfectly cooked gulf shrimp with a crispy corn bread breading. The seasoned fries definitely the way to go and the hushpuppies while being a little on the small side were homemade and quite tasty. GET THE HORSERADISH, you'll thank me later!

A unique style restaurant. You order at the counter (we weren't a fan since the line can get long) but your food comes to your table. Food and drinks are very good. Place is fairly small so time your visit for early afternoon of you can

It's a great place to meet for a quick lunch. Grab a quick drink! The only down thing is Everything is fried.

Great food and atmosphere! Good for kids! We ate there on Tuesday and they had free bingo! Locally owned and friendly service!

It's not a building that would draw you in off the street. However, the restaurant was clean and appeared well maintained. It appears to be a regular hangout for many. Our service was quick and friendly. The food was fabulous. The price was very reasonable. The portions were huge. You MUST get some hush puppies!

came into town at 9 pm on Friday. this place is one of the only places open past 9 with food. it is amazing. great shrimp tacos and cheese steak. all good.

Although they were busy the first time we went in, we only waited for 10 minutes to order and get a table. The food was great. the atmosphere was nice. They had good drinks. The people were super friendly and the establishment was nice and clean. They also have good hours. We will definitely be back for more.
