Great people and even better owners. The chef is amazing and oversees every aspect of the menu. You would not regret for a second anything on the menu. Especially the cubano and peanut butter cookies. Of course even the grilled cheese is off the hook.

Just a warning .. everything is fine with the place .. clean .. friendly .. but they don't have all the wonderful options on the menu .. you got like maybe 5 options of sandwiches .. I watched a few ppl come in ask for an order and get told they don't have all the options and only had some basic stuff and people would just leave .. me and my friend stayed and just had a good laugh about it .. and said " that's how they get ya! " Make a great menu to lure you in and then say jk just these simple options .. cuz the hungry ppl like us are just gonna settle for the turkey Swiss sandwich!! Lol .. which was good by the way ..

This review is for the Southside location in the lobby of the Kleberg Bank building as they do have another downtown location. This place is the best sandwich shop I have found in Corpus, everything is homemade with decent sized portions. All natural meats and breads. I have had the Italian sub twice and it does not disappoint. The homemade pastrami is top notch, and yes I got the extra meat! I'm also a fan of the brisket chili, last time I was lucky to get the past bowl at about 1:30 in the afternoon. My wife typically gets one of there salads and she has been very happy with them. Good location, fair prices, and really nice staff. They also have good looking breakfast burritos, but I have never tried. Beware this location does not offer the homemade chips as there is no fryer on site. This is the place to go for a sandwich in my book.

When we lived in Corpus Christi we loved eating here. Food was fresh and tasty! Staff was kind. It was something I miss now that we have moved.

Love this sandwich shop! The extensive menu does not disappoint. They make everything from scratch and its delicious! Portion sizes are large, so come with an appetite! A menu favorite of ours is the blackened chicken wrap, but the chicken salad, caldo, pasta salad and desserts are awesome!! Staff is kind and polite! Love coming here for a quick lunch.
