Shogun Japanese Steak House

We went in because outside it says Finally under New management but the place is dirty and worn out inside. In my opinion they need a deep cleaning and renovation. In my opinion it was not worth it and we will not be going back until they invest in improvements.

Hmmm. Waited a while for them to cook our food. The fried rice and veggies were good. They served it with ginger sauce and then we asked for the teriyaki sauce. Both sauces were very good. There was 4 of us. We ordered (2) scallops, scallops and shrimp, and chicken. Scallops were fishy tasting, chicken was average and the shrimp was pretty good. The venting system doesn't work very well. I think I got a fried rice smoke facial. Don't think we will come back here.

Great experience. Good prices for lunch. Highly recommend. We had the steak teriyaki and shrimp with fried rice. Jose The cook was awesome.

I only went to Shogun because they were advertising that they were under new management. I walked in and all you smell is smoke and paint. I guess their vent systems weren't working properly. They're doing renovations, so everything is hella chaotic. Honestly, it just looks dingy and dusty. The ceiling tiles are very yellow. When you sit down at the table, you get sporadic whiffs of old sink sponge mixed in with smoke. The food was very mid. Like super basic, and I assumed that for a $20.00 dinner plate, the rice was included. It's not, it's $3.00 bucks a person. The chef wasn't very interactive, and no one refilled our drinks. Perhaps theyre going through "under new management" growing pains. But I would not eat there again. Wasn't worth the $94.00 bucks tip included. Also, everyone in my party RAN to the bathroom as soon as we got home. Nambes, chale.

Food was great- chef even asked how we wanted the food cooked. Very impressed . Large portions-

Lunch specials are at a good price and tasty. The ambiance leaves much to be desired. Plastic or rubber mats at didderent elevations are an accident waiting to happen. The cooks always complain about management but the service and food are good.

We went for dinner. Had to wait for a cook to free up. Probably because of the holidays but well worth the wait. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. But you need to bring a soup spoon to eat the soup. LOL. Will be coming back!

Great food could use some remodeling but overall amazing order rice and you will not be disappointed. Service is always great staff is very nice will come again.
