"Is this tap water?""Yes it is tap water."That set my expectation for dinner. I started either a Zombieland drink, which was very sugary. One sip and I shoved it towards the tap water.The table was dirty and offset to ensure your back will ache from reaching out to eat. The waiter tried to move it but the stack of coasters holding a leg collapsed. So i moved to another table.I ordered Sesame Chicken with fried rice, the safest choice I thought. I was wrong. Had a strange taste to it, a few bites later and I asked for the check.Bad taste in my mouth so I won't look for another restaurant. I don't recommend this plate.

If I could give this 2.5 stars, I would but since we can't do half stars I am going to round up. I need to say that I have ordered takeout/doordash from here many times. I have never stepped foot inside the restaurant so I have zero idea how the service is or if it is clean. This review is solely based on the food taste.I usually get hot and sour soup, "cream cheese puffs" and general tso's chicken. It is really a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is great. It will be hot and flavorful. Other times, like tonight it was tasteless and bland. The hot and sour soup barely had any flavor. It was hot. The cream cheese puffs were probably the best thing of the night. However the dipping sauce is a really watered down version of a sweet and sour. I am not sure if they water it down to cut cost or if it is just because it is Sunday. Usually General Tso's is zesty and spicy, but it seriously lacked any flavor tonight. Again, maybe it was an off night. Sunday at 7pm might not be the best time to order here. Keep in mind this is just standard Chinese takeout style food. So again, it is just hit or miss. The owner and manager are wonderful. day staff is always so kind and professional. My patient loves coming here for their egg drop soup. It helps when she's not feeling her best.

The staff seemed friendly, they seemed to be on the phone with IT so no one really talked to me. The food isn't too bad, the chicken in the chicken fried rice has a grey tint to it so I didn't eat it. Bit all of it was grey but majority

We've been here a few times, food is typicalChinese restaurant food. I ordered the moo shoo shrimp suppose to come with thin pancakes and I got tortillas. Our server was either very new or no one bothered to train her, felt kinda bad for her. When we left, we went up to the counter to pay. Told the gal up front which I presumed was the manager, about the tortillas and she laughed at me and proceeded to ignore me completely! Whatever we probably won't be back.

i really enjoyed my visit at shanghai. i've been before and it's always good i don't know if it's because i usually order the same thing every time but yk what they say don't fix it if it ain't broken. i got the general tso chicken (my usual) which was delicious the sauce was excellent. the chicken was nice and tender. super juicy. but instead of sticking to my usual i also ordered the fire noodles with shrimp & chicken (the double protein is an up charge) and it was amazing so full of flavor. not super spicy as you would think since it's called "fire noodles" but it still had a kick. i think it might become my new favorite. the food portions of both selections were huge . which is great because me and my boyfriend shared both plates. the only thing i would say was kinda bad was the service . it wasn't extremely terrible just kinda silly. our appetizer (the salt n pepper calamar) came out 2mins before our main entrees. mind you we sat with just our drinks for almost an hour. which is okay we weren't in a rush but still. another problem was when i was drinking sweet tea and when my glass was empty my server filled it with dr pepper. which was silly . other then those two silly problems service was great and the food was spectacular

if I could I would give zero stars. this is my first time writing a review because usually I wouldn't bother even if the food or service was terrible. I went there to eat out for my birthday because I saw they had pho and I have been missing home and my Ba'noi's pho. the appetisers were ok but the eggrolls were overwhelmingly greasy. when the pho came out I was instantly disappointed. the both was obviously watery and the meat was chunky. true pho beef is sliced thinly so that it can be cooked by the hot broth. their noodles were over cooked and felt disgusting. I was so disappointed I wanted to cry. their menu said their pho was authentic so I trusted that it would be. I also order the lemongrass chicken and it was like eating rubber. I was severely disappointed and my day felt ruined and I miss home even more now. also a pair of chopsticks from the table were mouldy and my little brother didn't know because he's never had to see mould before. I spent $202 for bad food.

Food and service were good. We had a group of 8, all went well. Thanks a clean place to eat.

Food is very good and authentic Asian. Friendly atmosphere, felt very welcomed and enjoyed the comfort of a good meal. Eggs rolls are outstanding!

I ordered my go-to, Singapore noodles. I got to the restaurant and they made the wrong dish. After waiting 15 minutes for the correct dish to be made I took it home. I am sorry, but AF is this? This was so beyond disappointing. The noodles are horrible, the ingredients were completely off and the tasted was not that of Singapore noodles. I will never go back to this place. Such a horrible experience overall.
