I had been wanting to go here since I came across the ads/site on IG. It did not disappoint. It was colorful and had a huge array of adorable cositas/items. I adored both the sassy and salty products. I fell in love with the sign that said that Yolanda Saldivar was not welcome - hilarious and somber especially knowing the reality of the statement. I laughed out loud, then was like awww . Their sticker wall was amazing and had me giggling - as I agreed with a bunch of them. I would definitely go back, as I believe they get new items all the time. Plus, they also offer a punch card for how much you spend with an 25% off discount after the 5th punch. Two thumbs up. I wish I lived in Corpus to try out the sewing classes that are offered. That looks like something fun to do and learn.

Sew Bonita is a local cultura shop that gives you all the energia y buena vibras that you want. Elena Flores has built her burgeoning empire via Instagram and through online sales until finally opening up a location. Formerly on located in Weber St, the new storefront on Alameda St provides more room which means more stuff!You'll find all kinds of cultura centric offerings, and not just from her collection but from other purveyors of Latinidad, and a good amount of chic items from stickers, keychains, and pictures, to larger items like portraits, clothing, and home furnishings. It truly is an explosion of vibrancy, with colorful purses and multilayered jean jackets and clutches lining the shelves. You can certainly find yourself just looking for hours at all the unique pieces... or taking pictures at a few IG ready spots within the store. I couldn't help myself from taking a picture in front of the red door as described by the hometown legend Selena in her song "El Chico del Apartamento 512." I mean, I had to.A couple more reasons to visit Sew Bonita:Gerald Flores, her husband, has his own merchandise line, Taco Gear available here as well. Taco Gear offers shirts, caps, and items for the fellas. Elena also hosts workshops where she teaches sewing and also has artists come through and offer classes. It's a great concept to not only hold instructional sessions but these also become community gatherings and folks often wind up being friends and enjoying building together. Sew Bonita is not only a store but also a destination for folks who love and embrace their Latinidad. Super cute Latina boutique. You can find all the home decor , sewing fabrics , and trinkets your heart desires. I spent about an hour oohing and ahhing over all the cute things they have here.

Love this shop! After seeing the shop on instagram it was surreal to see it in person! We were visiting from Los Angeles... she has soo many cute items.

I had been following this page on Instagram and decided to stop in while visiting friends in Corpus Christi. It did NOT disappoint! Very unique items. The store is full of culture and fun. There were many unique gifts. I plan on doing a bit of Christmas shopping the next time I'm in town!
