Advertises as the alternative to the Valley. It is definitely that. Much bigger spaces than the standard RV park common in the Rio Grande valley, and in a much more natural setting, right on Baffin Bay. Long stretches of shoreline, lit pier out into the bay, wetlands for birds. Beautiful landscaping and plantings, very well maintained grounds. A bit far from services like grocery stores, so feels isolated. But such a gorgeous setting, that is the tradeoff and why it is truly different frim the valley.

This is one of the best RV campgrounds I've ever stayed in. The staff are friendly the campers (especially in the Winter) are one big happy family. During the winter there is a church service every Sunday. Lots of activities walking distance to the water and fishing pier. Great restaurants close by. A little off the beaten path but worth the drive

We rented the Resort recreation hall for a family reunion. We reviewed the cleaning instructions with the manager and left a $200 cleaning deposit. We were told the hall stays unlocked and when we left the hall we left it cleaned as instructed. ( and unlocked as instructed). The next day we were initially refused our cleaning deposit stating we had left the hall a "disaster". We were shown photos taken by the cleaning crew of dust on the floor, one counter that was sticky and one small garbage can with a handful of trash. We did not leave it that way. We reminded them that the residents had access to the hall after we left and suggested this occurred after we left.We were not treated with respect and after continuing to insist that we had cleaned we were finally given our cleaning deposit.if you rent take lots of pictures after you clean!
