This is now my "go to place" in Corpus Christi. I had booked reservation at different motel. I left there with referral for Sea Shell Inn. We called and got last room with double beds, big bathroom and closet, mini kitchenette, amazing view of beach and pool by The Lexington. PK the owner was so nice. Not only was he friendly and helpful. I dropped my Debit card and license, while I was leaving to go look for it. He was walking up stairs to return it to me. Rooms very clean and great staff. Book your vaca there when you go to Corpus Christi.

The only great thing about this hotel was the view and location to the beach. But with all honesty stay away. I would of rather spent the 30 more a night and stayed at the Ramada. This place is run downed and need's upgrading. The Ice machine was a joke. It states .25 cents but spent well over $2 to get about 4 cups yes 4 cups of Ice because they dont provide Ice buckets.Oh and almost forgot we had about less than a fourth a roll of toilet paper for 4 of us when we checked in. So my husband went down and they stated they were OUT of toilet paper. Friday through Sunday they didn't have any and we had to buy our own. Also bring ypur own bath towels our were stained and had hair. Never again.

For some reason, yelp won't let me post the photos that I have. We stayed here over a week, checked out June 25th 2021. First off, we booked through a booking app. The booking app listed that the facility had laundry services, daily housekeeping, wifi, and "grab-and-go breakfast." When we booked, the app said that it was charging us for the first night as a deposit when we booked. (We booked almost a month in advance). Approximately 1 week after we booked, we started receiving these random text messages saying they were from the hotel and that they needed a $75 deposit to "prove you all are really coming, because we've had a lot of no-shows." My husband called them instead of just blindly sending money to a texted cash app link. They got very aggressive about it and scolded him for not just sending it. We paid the deposit over the phone and still received the texts every few days. The day we were scheduled to check in they texted and called us all morning wanting to know if we were still coming and why we weren't there. The good? The location is perfect. It's absolutely beachfront and had a beautiful view. It's within walking to almost anything you could want to do. Thats it. The cons: No air conditioning in the rooms. When I asked for a new room or someone to look at it we were given a fan and told to turn it off because "it's probably froze up." There is no housekeeping and you have to take the trash out AND provide your own trash bags trash bags toilet paper. There are no sheets in the bed: they put a plastic mattress cover on the mattress and give you 2 flat sheets for bedding. We had 5 people, 2 beds, and they provided 2 pillows. The room was constantly sticky and hot, the sheets constantly felt wet because of the lack of ac. There are no dishes or anything in the kitchenettes and no coffee pot. No ice machine (was broken) and no laundry area (also broken). The wifi didn't work. The rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors with no elevator and the stairs are rickety and broken. They only give you 2 towels per room and you have to take the dirty towels to the office to replace them, and you aren't allowed to use them at the pool or beach. The parking lot is a mess, parking is sparse, and the lot is not lit: someone crashed into our car and didn't report it and then some kids kept bouncing a volleyball off the door and again, nothing could be done. No outside cameras, per the office. The office is just a room with a tiny opening in the door so you really never see anyone. The pool is nice but closed early and the hotel has mandatory "quiet time" at 10 pm. So no breakfast, no housekeeping, no wifi. No AC. No help from the office. There are much better places that cost just a few dollars more each night.

If all your looking for is a good view this is the place to go. If you like a clean hotel room this is not the place to go. The pics on there website look great and the photographer did great cause it's not at all what you get. Spend the extra little bit of money and go somewhere else.Pros- close to the beach Great view Cons-They do monthly rental and the monthly renters are super ghetto ppl.Music blasting way past 10pmYour supporting the taliban Ac never gets cold

It's pretty loud having Fajitaville next door but this motel is right on the beach very close to the Lexington. WiFi did not work and it's not the cleanest place.

I do not know what all the bad reviews are about! Clean room, Hot Baths, Great AC, Awesome views! My stay was exactly what I needed! A phenomenal deal with the pricing! Best Beach Deal in Corpus! I stayed to look out my window at the magnificent Beach and get my CE Credits done! The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful! PK, the owner, went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my room! I will be coming back!

I asked my Mom if we should give it 2 stars or 3. We decided on 3. My comments : No bugs, free parking, free internet, right on the water. Zero amenities, unsafe steps, run down. Her comments: No roaches is a major thing. It is shabby but clean. and WATER. also plenty of hot water. Ice maker broke and way too expensive for what it is.Many comments about people falling on the stairs and I was terrified for my older parents. It just isn't safe in so many ways. Zero amenities in bathroom except hair dryer and poor quality bar of soap. Have to pay 25 cents for ice maker.Every room faces the ocean and the ocean is right out your door. It has two burners, a coffee maker and microwave. Must bring your own plates, silverware, pots, pans, paper towels, dish soap, dish sponge, shampoo, etc. It was nostalgic for Mom but we can't go back again. It might be right for your family! Bare bones, right on the ocean, and NO BUGS.

Great location but this is an old place and maintenance is lacking. The reason I'll never return is the AC wasn't working properly it got up to 80 degrees at 5:00 a.m. and my family and I woke-up and couldn't get back to sleep. Looked at the AC filter and it was clogged-up with dust. Toilet seat was also very loose. Too bad because I really liked the location. Will not return, no AC = no ME.

If I could give this a -1 I would. Room was Filthy had not been cleaned before we checked in, walked across carpet in white socks and they were nasty. Rooms are very old and run down. Don't believe the photos on their website. They are close to the Lexington, but that is the only good thing to say about this place. Tried to check out one day early and Richard stated we could leave but he was going to charge us for the full stay no matter what.I highly DO NOT recommend this place.

Staff was nice and helpful. We extended our stay by a day and they had no problem finding us a room. Only complaint is I got locked in the bathroom because the door handle didn't work and the ac was loud. Second room the cover with the ac wasn't attached all the way to the ceiling but still wasn't terrible. It seems super run down and when we arrived we were nervous but overall location and price it was good.
