Sea & Sand Cottages

I have now stayed here just about every summer, a total of about 4-5 times now. And I will continue to come back it's a staple of our family's go to place to stay. It's a perfect location to the beach and other places we enjoy going to. The place is always cleaned well, everyone friendly and it's dog friendly. And mathew has not raised his prices with everyone and everywhere else doing so. What more could I ask for? See y'all next summer!

We stayed here for two nights with my partner's family. The accommodations are very basic but conveniently located. The front door of our cottage was broken and needed to be replaced. I found ants and beetles in the bathroom, and the bed was not comfortable. If you are just looking for a bed to sleep in and want access to a kitchen then this may be a good option for you, however, I would definitely want something cleaner and more comfortable next time I'm in Port Aransas.

We needed a place to stay after driving over 566 miles. I was determined to feel the sea air so I started looking for a pet friendly place near Corpus Christi. I found Sea & Sand Cottages and gave them a call. Matthew answered the phone. He was chipper, friendly and had a really helpful attitude. He took all my reservation info and we were good to go. Over 8 hours later we arrived. Matthew greeted us and got us booked in. He again expressed his willingness to assist us if we needed anything. The cottages are not on the major street and area was quiet and peaceful. You enter into a well-packed dirt driveway. On the right are the colorful cottages, on the left were various travel trailers. I don't know what the trailers are for but they were all kept up and the areas around them were clean. That was for all of us who have seen how gross long-term RV renters can be. The cabin is very cute. There are 2 comfy beds and a futon which could all sleep 2 people. Nice, big fridge with an ice-maker. Adorable little electric range (which we did not use). There is nice large sink with peeling paint. The kitchen was stocked with cookware and dinnerware. The bathroom is bigger than I would expect with a shower. My favorite part was probably the back porch. It has a swing and 2 chairs. It was very pleasant sitting out there. Unfortunately it smelled like smoke but we made it work. In the front there is a picnic table. Overall we really liked this place and we highly recommend it.

Everything worked out well. The communication was quick and detailed. The cottage was clean and there were plenty of towels.

Had an excellent week long stay here. Quiet area that is close enough to walk to some stores and restaurants. Very clean and well put together cottage with 2 bedrooms and 1 futon. Also pet friendly, which is a big plus.The small kitchen space was nice to have. The microwave was in a lower cabinet in #3. Having a full sized refrigerator was great to have. The back porch had a swing and 2 chairs, which was a nice place to hang out but def needed mosquito repellant.Highly recommend if you are looking for some space to hang out in instead of just a hotel room.

Cutest little spot we've stayed in at Port Aransas so far and we've been coming here for years. Has been updated since Harvey and has a super quaint, beachy feel. The owner obviously takes a lot of pride in this property and it's just getting better. Small, clean, gated pool on site and within walking distance to restaurants and the only grocery store on the island. We are a family of four and couldn't be more happy and comfortable. Private porch with chair swing. Great price for all the amenities. Our new home away from home in Port A!!

We've stayed several places on the island, but these cottages are just right for our needs ( we've stayed here more than once). Cthe cottages are comfy, cozy, yet plenty of room for relaxing for our family of four. They are located off the main streets, so they are quiet, yet an easy walk to a LOT that Port A has to offer. Matthew manages the property is just rediculously awesome; smart, funny, organized, thoughtful....everything you want in an inkeeper. Aside from being moderately priced, this place has everything you need (except bring your spices, condiments, and large soap/shampoo - if you're into that sort of thing)....and if you forgot something, just give Matthew a call. We had an amazing time at Sea & Sand Cottages! Matthew (the owner) was more than friendly, helpful with recommendations for local hot spots, and extremely grateful for our business!The cottage was darling, clean and located close to everything in town. The decor was super beachy/classy. Very comfortable 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living space, bathroom, and a back porch to die for with a bench swing which was perfect for relaxing on with an evening with a cocktail! The salt water pool was amazing as well, so refreshing and even had strobe lights for a fun evening dip! Dog friendly! Only $10 per night to bring along your pet.The cottages were very reasonably priced and also offer specials for trips over a 3 night stay!I highly recommend Sea & Sand Cottages and can't wait to go back as soon as we get the chance. I truly felt like I was on vacation there:)

Loved it! Super quiet and walking distance to the best parts of Port A! My family and I've been coming down here for 20 years every summer. We're been staying in a different place every time because they are never nice enough to go back. Well, next time we go back we're going to stay at the Sea and Sands Cottages! We loved them! They have the three things I look for an accommodation at the coast- a pool, two bedrooms, and pet friendly. Just perfect!

I can't say enough about this property! I've stayed here multiple times and it has always been fantastic. Firstly, Matthew is a total class act! I can honestly say from experience that many properties don't even bother to answer emails or return voice messages. This is not the case here. Matthew provides service, beyond outstanding- he's extremely responsive and accommodating. Beyond that: it's exceptionally clean, the pool is also exceptionally clean and such a nice amenity. One of the nicest smaller pools I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Location A+, staff A+, cottages A+. I literally don't have one negative thing to say about anything concerning this property. You will not be disappointed staying here. As far as we're concerned it's the best accommodations on island! So comfortable, was an absolute pleasure staying with you- we WILL be back! Edit to include that YAS!!! The beds in all cottages we've stayed in (3, 6 & 7) were extremely comfortable! So, so nice to sleep well and in perfect comfort!
