I called Scarlett in advance to see if she cuts ethnic hair. I am Black with thick coily hair. I wear my hair in a fro. I have had a very hard time finding people to cut my hair here in South Texas. She was very honest that she had been trained to cut ethnic hair but hadn't had as much experience. But if I was willing to provide her feedback we could see if she might be a good fit. I made sure that my hair was clean and blown out as straight as possible before arriving for the appointment. She listened very intently. Looked at the photo that I provided, took her time going through my hair and cut my hair in the exact shape that I asked for! I am very satisfied with my hair cut. I am very thankful that I was able to find Scarlett. I was comfortable allowing her to learn on my hair because she has so clearly demonstrated that she values providing great customer service. I will be back!!!!

I'm writing this review to bring awareness to the owner and others about the dangers of just following orders. I called to make an appointment and the owner indicated I must wear a mask and that it's mandated by the state. I asked her if she would close her business if the state told her to as well. I cancelled my appointment. Texas business' are taking for granted our rights to start a business and conduct them without much government intrusion. Lots of other states and countries haven't been so lucky during the last 10 months. Millions of small business' have closed down forever due to mandates, lockdowns, and restrictions. By complying with orders you are complicit in this devastation continuing and have zero right to complain when and if the next lockdown occurs in Texas and if you ever lose your business from this. If you think that justifies all the destruction to small business' this year than you won't find anyone else fighting to keep your small business open when and if the next lockdown happens. We aren't just fighting for Texas Small Business, we're fighting for the millions other that are struggling to keep afloat. I don't condone cancel culture and I 100% support small business so I am giving her a 5 star review in hopes that one day I can get a haircut here without following these orders she is just following. But the time to pick a side is now and We The People don't want another 2020. Our children and elderly are suffering while small business is imploding. So pick your side wisely.

Scarlett did an excellent job cutting my hair and my sons hair. She is very friendly and personable. She did a haircut for me that I had not heard of before and I absolutely love it! Thank you so much!

I used to have a hard time finding a great haircut. Scarlett is the best in the business! I've been visiting her for years and never disappointed. Her styling tools are not the cheapie kind; quality begets quality. Still the only men's stylist to use the metal Oster 76'ers clippers for a precise cut.

The address is actually on the 800 block of Wildcat st. Scarlet was wonderful. She was very helpful in helping me figure out what the best cut was for my style of hair. Very professional and taught me things about my hair that I was unaware of. I was very satisfied with the results and the time I spent there.

I'm always really apprehensive about hair appointments, but that's completely changed now! Scarlett went out of her way to fit me in before an event, and was absolutely amazing! On top of being insanely talented at her job, she made the whole experience so enjoyable! She explained everything and taught me how to recreate the look and some great new techniques! I walked out with beautiful hair, but also with the confidence and information to keep it looking amazing!

I'm visiting from California and my sister and I needed haircuts and we are so grateful we found Scarlett. She is a master hairstylist and educator and offers so much more than we expected. The knowledge and training she has pursued goes beyond hair styling and is so impressive - we're booking massages next.
