My cousins daughter passed away. Im here for the funeral burial. This is my first time here. Not bad my daughters cousin looks very pretty, her casket is really nice. This place is small but very cozy very homey to me. Not bad for a small funeral home.

Recently we had a sudden tragic passing in my family. I was trying to step up and make arrangements. I called this funeral home, along with several others. I spoke to Noey Sr. He is the owner, seemed compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, a little forward, but overall like he was endearing and wanted to take care of our loved one. We decided to go with their services. We made arrangements for a meeting with his son, Noey Jr. at 10 am the next morning, and that he would send someone to collect our loved one RIGHT AWAY from the morgue at the hospital. Sounded great. Whew. WRONG. We called on our way to the 10 am meeting the next morning, thankfully. We do not live in Corpus Christi, it is a bit of a drive. They not only did not have our loved one, but they wanted us to come in that afternoon instead. We WERE ALREADY IN CORPUS CHRISTI. On top of grieving, we now had this to deal with. How horrible. Shame on you, Saxet, Noey, and your family. We went with a different funeral home, you should too.

Do not I repeat do not try and go with this funeral home. They are unprofessional and do not care about the grieving family it's all about money with them and by the way they will do extra by lying to get more money from you , they will lie to your face about your loved ones. Pls do your research and go else where. Save your money and your tears and your time. This was the most unorganized unprofessional miscommunicative staff and business place I have ever dealt with. Just simply awful. By the way I would rather give them a negative-100* on here since it's forcing me to leave a star. so here negative- 10,0000

I agree 100% with the first review! The most unprofessional, horrific experience ever. They have no compassion whatsoever! I was never even offered any condolence as I struggled to get my sister's ashes shipped to me. They REFUSED to ship them to me in the end. It was my dying sisters request I have her ashes. My brother had to make a 7 hour round trip to go and pick them up! Shipping cremated remains to out of town families is common practice. They were all over the place in this matter. First they were going to ship them for $75 and then decided after MULTIPLE emails that we had to pick them up! Email correspondence was with a woman named Linda who has not a clue how to compose a professional email. If you have a loved one who has passed, go somewhere else and avoid this funeral home.

On behalf of the Grant & McCullough family, we would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to Mr. Noe & family at Saxet Funeral Home. Saxet work with the family under very critical time constraints, from transporting our beloved family mbr from over five hundred plus miles (one way), to processing and planning a stellar homegoing celebration. Saxet came in under budget (based on the family spending needs) and also provided the family with lots of upgrades, love, care, concern and greiving support at no extra charges. Higly recommend and will definitely use them again

I can not say how grateful I am with the professional service and kindness shown to me before, during and after my husband passed away. They are consummate professionals with a huge dose of genuine caring.

This is the most unprofessional operation imaginable. Their staff ruined the peace we felt with my mom's passing. Respect, dignity, and compassion are absent in their process. There was no privacy in our meeting, the facilities are filthy, saws and power tools were heard during the meeting, the paperwork was riddled with errors, and the timing of the process (which required an extra charge) was not honored. My sister saw someone's loved one in plain view in the back of a transport vehicle, and my father heard his wife of 44 years referred to as "the one in the box now". The whole process was disheartening and disgusting. I chose them to keep my money with a local family-owned business and it ended up being the worst decision I could've possibly made. I rated this review with 1 star because it won't let me post it with zero. Save your family the unnecessary pain and stress by going somewhere else.
