Sargent Country Store

We come here for gas and pizza! The pizza is very good and affordable. They make it fresh so make sure you order ahead and give them some time to prepare it. We'll be back!

We decided to check out the food at Sargent Country Store on our recent trip to Sargent. Three times we've been to Sargent but dismissed this place as 'just a gas station.' Our loss! They have a pretty hefty menu of burgers, appetizers, chicken, and pizza...definitely something for everyone. We went twice and tried the hamburger with tater tots and the pizza. Everything was pretty tasty! They have a small dining area in the back with a TV if you don't want to take your food to go.Sargent Country Store has everything from bait to shampoo to hardware. We got a tad 'lost' in the store trying to find the food area (walk in the door and make a right at the register). Everyone was nice and helpful with food suggestions. We'll definitely be back on our next trip!

Stopped in and discovered their pizza. Down here, in the off season, it can be challenging to find anything to eat during the week after 8pm. Ordered a supreme and a pepperoni that was made up fresh and right out of the oven. I would have had to drive 15 miles north or east just to match these pizzas. Pretty sure they are open till 9 most of the time, better to call and make sure as the sidewalks are rolled up at dusk here...

Love all the girls here!!!! Prices are great and love to be able to get quick good food at a great price. Have basically everything from lumber to drinks.

Ok I'v lived in sargent now for about 6 years and at one point this gas station and another up the road thats owned by the same owner was the only stores to get gas,food,or basically any supplies. As you might expect due to no competition the prices are pretty high. The problem I have with the place is it is constantly filled with cigarette smoke as the women that work there smoke inside often. Now this isn't a deal breaker high prices and a little smoke I can deal with but the employees not ALL but several are extremely rude, outspoken and outright unproffessional. One time I went in to the store to purchase some light bulbs and some hornet killer for our boat shed which had several giant nest, when I went to pay the lady cashier which looked pretty angry to begin with. I put the cash on the counter that was slightly crumpled . Immediately the lady snapped " I don't take wadded up money you can unfold that before you give it to me" taken aback I complied. I asked her in a polite way if she had a bad situation happen and if that were why she had that rule. She again in a a very stark voice" cause dope heads like you with your wasp sprays and crack light bulbs put filthy things in your money and im. Not touching it" later I contacted store owner and he seemed pretty unapologetic and didn't offer more than a "well I'm sorry " response. I have had many other simular encounters and that particular lady works there till this day. Still just as shockingly randomly rude. For the record I drink sometimes but do not use any drugs, and try to always be pretty polite and give everyone the benefit of the doubt along with respect. It's sad some people are just angry at the world. You would think a business owner would care about this hurting g his business but people don't have much choice unless they wanna travel 25 miles to nearest town to shop. Hr name rhymed with ratty.
