Sandpiper Resort Condominiums

We enjoyed staying here. Our room was nice and clean. Beds were comfy. Shower in master bath took a little bit to figure out, but finally got it. We would stay here again.

Amazing!!!!! So beautiful the rooms are so spacious and are an awesome beach theme. Such an awesome place for kids and the beach is gorgeous all year long. They recently remodeled and the lobby is so pretty!!! Hot tub is so warm and bubbly and it feels so nice. Literally a tv in every room and the beds are like clouds. You are also so close to so many yummy restaurants, especially the ones and Corpus. Corpus has so many attractions like the Lexington Ship, The Corpus Aquarium, and Horseback Riding on the Beach. 10/10 would recommend. 1000% am coming back.

Great ocean views from all the units. They all have a wonderful staff that is very attentive. Most all units have been redecorated. I have stayed at many places along the coast and this is my favorite place. You are near restaurants at both Corpus Christi and Port A. Highly recommend this as a place to stay on Mustang Island. The beach is right out front with a short boardwalk right to the beach.

People go on vacation to RELAX and not be a slave to the alarm clock. If you stay at Sandpiper Condos, you won't have to worry about setting an alarm. The first two mornings after our check in, we were greeted at 7AM with maintenance/renovations being done next door and upstairs. That should be mentioned when you book and they offered no concessions when we brought this up to them. LOUD renovations that no one wants to hear the first two mornings of your vacation. Additionally, the tar was very abundant and yet it was hard to find tar remover. Overall not the relaxing vacation that we had hoped for...never booking Sandpiper Condos again. We brought this to their attention. We sent a post visit email and received nothing back to try and get some resolution. We basically felt like they just were interested in taking our money.

August 2024Wow! We had the best time at this condo and this unit! I have stayed at lots of places in Port A and this is the best I have seen. Let me start with this unit. It was impeccably decorated! Walking in is breathtaking. Everything you could need is at your fingertips and we loved having the shade on the balcony in the late afternoon. The beds are so comfortable and stylish. The entire condo complex seems to have been renovated and look like new. It has what I think are the best views in all of Port Aransas. They look to be the closest built condos to the beach so makes for much easier walkover then most places I have stayed. The proximity to the beach makes the views incredible from the unit. We also appreciated the friendly front desk people who seemed to be on call 24/7. Unit1102 felt like a luxury resort. We will be staying at this one again for sure!

We stayed for spring break!! Had a great time enjoying the magnificent views from our balcony!! The resort was fantastic... the hot tub was a great place to enjoy the evenings. I would highly recommend. It is also located close to restaurants and shopping!

This is far from luxury, building is a bit rundown. We were notified that we would be moved from our reservation on the 11th floor to the 4th floor the day before we arrived. There is construction going on, on the 5th floor directly above us. The noise is constant, all day starting before 7:30 AM. Management has not responded to emails, nor has front desk staff (who are very nice) done anything but apologize.Housekeeping knocked on the door (no notice) and asked us to please leave while they cleaned!This place is awful

The Sandpiper is our favorite place to stay on Mustang Island. It is carefully maintained, and the staff members are friendly and helpful. The beach is just a short walk away using the boardwalk, and all units directly face the gulf. Although all units have a gulf view, the view tends to be more expansive in the higher units. Many of the rental units have been recently remodeled. You can view each unit in the rental pool from the Sandpiper website. My family usually goes to the Sandpiper several times during the year, and we invariably enjoy our stay.

I had stayed at this resort last fall with no issues, so I felt confident that it would be a good experience this time when I brought a family member for a five-night stay. The unit we reserved, 707, was clean and supplied with what we needed. But we came here largely to enjoy the pool, and we couldn't do that because the pool heater wasn't working and the water was like ice. We asked the front desk about it, and one woman said, "We're working on it." She couldn't give us any idea of when it would be fixed. We never saw anyone working in the pool area. This frankly tainted the whole experience for us. We did use the hot tub, but it's not the same thing. I would be hesitant to stay here again, or at the very least I would call and ask about the pool heater before booking!

Avoid Sandpiper!!! There is extremely loud construction noise from 8 am to 7pm. We were placed in a unit right below and so loud we could not even speak to each other in the unit. Our son was in tears, the manager John Lee refused to reimburse us since no other units were open. Another family 2 floors below us left early due to migraines from the noise. When I asked to speak to John's supervisor he hung up the phone on me. We were reimbursed from the second night we had reserved but seems unfair to charge $475 when unit not habitable from 8 am to 7 pm. The units themselves we have stayed at are clean and well appointed but avoid this place until the construction is finished and they hire a new manager.
