Stay away. We were just charged $42 for plugging a fan into an empty site. They won't let a rv park there. The rv plugs don't work so only the 110 does. They pulled a credit card I used last year and secretly charged me. Shady stuff.

We were looking for a low key, simple place to clean up and sleep during a fishing weekend. Nothing fancy, just efficient- Sandollar fit the bill. Yes, the kitchenette is dated but it was clean and had everything we needed. Simple, comfortable and charming. Even used real door keys! This was truly all we needed. Our weekend was focused on being by the water, fishing and outdoors so this suited us just fine. Friendly and polite staff that was ready for us when we drove in to register at 4:00 a.m. Love the beautiful wind twisted trees and quiet privacy of this place. We will be back!

We had a great weekend in October, very quaint and relaxing. But had all the modern amenities. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We can't wait to go back.

The staff seemed to not know what they were doing from the start of our "supposed to be" 6 month stay in the rv park. Dallas made the reservation nearly impossible from the start. Thanks to Mark we finally got in. The pools are full sun and HOT.. We lost power numerous times with no accommodation to a room, "we would have to pay for it; already paying guests." To no water several times. Upon departing for a week with a reservation until August 31st, they decided to give up my spot in 2 days with no confirmation from me or my husband. Also, suspiciously enough, my package was "stolen" at the same time. Yeah okay. when talking to the Gm she argued with me that they did no wrong here. I had to put these people on their place for an apology. RIDICULOUS!!! I highly suggest a newer park or one that is run better than this, I can't even call, establishment. I stayed here as a kid and this place has gone down the drain. Very very disappointed with Elva and her staff.

We had a great stay. Was a last minute trip and only spent one night. The manager was extremely friendly and caring. We stayed in a hotel room with kitchenette. Two queen size beds, very comfortable. Full size refrigerator and stove. Kitchen equipment included coffee maker and toaster. We were not here to cook but the supplies looked new and nice. Tile floors and walk out patio, our room faced the water and ground floor. This part was awesome. A/C worked great, but thermostat was kinda hidden behind the curtain of the sliding glass door to the pati. Room has ceiling fans, that was a plus. The restroom was very nice, big walk in shower only. Two swimming pools but we only went to the one by our room. Observation deck was new and nice.Everything was very clean and well taken care of.Only one thing we were let down by is the lighted fishing pier was closed and being worked on. Wish their web page would have let us know. We booked on line so maybe if we called they might have told us.We just went to public pier to fish.Overall awesome stay and we can't wait to come back. Oh the said the pier should be repaired and open by Easter.

We stayed for 2 nights last weekend, 3/6-3/7. Made the reservations about 3-4 weeks prior. Reserved a Motel Room. WHen we made the reservations, the lady, can't remember name, didn't mention they we're still renovating the motel room units, from the hurricane. We arrived early and the room wasn't ready. We were told we would be the "Gennie pigs" WHen they said it was, about 345pm, we arrived at unit #317, which faces the main road and ocean, and noticed the room was all new. Which was a good thing. But there were issues we had. Like not having the normal necessities you would have in a room.No hair dryer, no paper towels for the kitchenette, a few utentials if needed, no trash can linners.I also called ahead to find out if there would be a coffee maker in the room. She said yes. The coffee maker provided was one for pods, not a regular maker. That would have been nice to know prior since we didn't have any.Pros: Good lighting throughout Pillows and sheets were new no road noise even though derectly in front big TV that worked fineOther Cons: Room wasn't cleaned, bed NOT made, the next day. Even though they said it would be. Towels were also NOT replaced Beds were hard Also, WIFI, which they said would be working, wasn'tAll and all it was a clean place to stay. And we had a great visit with family. We just wish they would have been more up front with everything. Also, when I checked out, which is returning the key, yes a key, she never asked how our stay was. Not very good customer service.Probably wouldn't stay again. Unless they worked out ALL the kinks.

We definitely got dooped by the pictures on the website. The property is not taken care of. We paid for full hook-up and the rv next to us is using our waste receptacle. We almost took out a light pole and an rv when pulling into the lane our rv spot was on. The nice guy moved in his chair and rolled up his awning. The spots are so awkward that he had to park his trailer closer to the edge of the lane for his hook-ups. Little did we know, we had to do the same once we parked. It's nice that it is shaded by trees but the trees don't make it easy to pull through and access electricity and the waste receptacle. Plus, you have to park enough between the trees to be able to open your slide and use the features of your rv. Can't even open our awning because we need to be able to open our slide. Thanks trees! Lots of stickers in the sand/weeds on the ground. Picnic tables are old and worn. Plus pack the rvs in like sardines. Kept blowing the electric box too! Definitely bring a surge protector or you will ruin your electric system. Very disappointed! Won't be back to this place.
