My family decided to take a quick weekend trip to the beach and aquarium. I was considering this property and a property through another rental agency. I pick properties based off images and feedback provided. The images shown for Trojan Paradise must've been immediately after a remodel - it is not an accurate portrayal of what you will be walking into now. The pleather furniture is peeling apart; if you touch it, it comes off. The downstairs furniture really wasn't usable unless you wanted pieces of plastic sticking and poking you - and further damaging their furniture. There were holes in the drywall. The pool was disgusting. We walked into the property to see torn up furniture, holes in the ceiling and clumps of hair on the floor. There were 3 piles of hair throughout the home. Dried contact lenses on a window sill. Hair stuck to the toilet. Dead roaches and a dead frog covered in dust. Crumbs all over their nesting end tables (might wanna let your cleaning crew know they need to pull them out and not only clean the top). We were very disappointed overall. I wouldn't rent from this management company again. I contacted the management company and spoke with Christina. She was nice, but didn't seem concerned about my complaints. In our first conversation, she just stated that "yeah, that property has some wear and tear." Wear and tear is the caulk coming up in the bathroom, paint scraped off walls from furniture being moved, the banged up refrigerator. The outside is unkept with weeds and trash throughout the white rocks. The furniture, holes and weeds are not wear and tear. The lack of cleanliness is not wear and tear. It's negligence. She offered to send someone to sweep, but she called back about an hour after I had reached out and I had toddlers who put everything in their mouths. We had already swept and wiped down surfaces by the time she called back. She ended up refunding the cleaning fee. Still not happy - I would've never even considered this property over our other choice if the pictures were accurate.Also, after some research, there are several reviews that state the company removes listings once negative reviews are posted and then re-lists.

Stayed at the worst place ive ever stayed in. Pictures of the listing were a lie. Left a day early and of course no help from this company. Thank you. The reply to this review is condescending and rude. The yard was full of water. There was no parking. The pictures were totally deceiving. Thank you so much for your ridiculousness response. Goes to show what kind of company this is.

If I could give 0 stars I would, they are really just trying to get money out of people. Me and a group of my friends came to stay here for the weekend and they only informed us as we arrived on the property after a three and a half hour drive that they could not give us the keys to the property because "we were not what they expected" it was extremely rude and afterwards they did not offer a refund of any sort or help us to find another place AT ALL! Instead while we were all trying to figure out what we would do two random guys that worked there proceeded to kick us off the property(we were standing in their empty parking lot) and being extremely rude about it. We still have not received a refund or any help. Just absolutely horrible experience.

If I could leave a 0 stars I would. We checked into a filthy property with hair all over sheets and a bonus pair of dirty panties/underwear next to bed and nightstand. We had to sleep on couch the first night due to the disgusting conditions. The power also kept going out in bedroom Upstairs and had maintenance come to fix it. Their solution was to credit me 100.00...:: REALLY???? I had to wash the sheets, then wash the new ones they brought me and no one came to remove the panties so I had to do that as well. How do you miss panties next to bed??? Awful. They have yet to reach out to me. I have called everyday during our stay and then every day since we have been home. No supervisor is available ever, the young lady who answers the phone has ZERO customer service skills and thinks this I my problem not theirs.

We really enjoyed our rental for the weekend in Port Aransas. We rented Sea Clusion and were overall pleased. The room was clean and in a really great location for easy access to the beach. There are just two things that were a little concerning. First, the AC filter is located in the hallway and we noticed that it was extremely dusty. It gave the impression that the filter had not been changed in a really long time, which could be concerning for asthmatics and others with breathing problems. The second concern was not being able to find a dumpster anywhere in the community. You are required to take out your own trash upon departure and we drove around and could not find the public dumpster, so ended up putting the trash in the back of our truck and throwing it at the gas station dumpster. Other than those two items we were really pleased and do recommend this place.

We had a vacation planned for Friday July 24th thru Monday the 27th in Port A. We booked an Air BnB through Sand Key Realty and a fishing charter through Island Boy Charters. I received a call from Island Boy Charters cancelling our trip on Thursday due to winds expecting to be between 40 - 60 mph and rain of 8+ inches. They refunded my deposit of $250 with no hesitation.My wife then called and spoke to Christina (Rude and unprofessional) at Sand Key Realty to ask what our options were since we had an 8 hour trip one way to get there. She said that rain was expected Friday and Saturday but she felt Sunday and Monday would be good days at the beach and that they were not going to issue a refund($2,500). She stated the house was still available and they would love for us to enjoy the house. We had friends that were Already in Port A which we were going to meet and they said that the beach was closing Friday at noon and not opening back up until Monday. My wife went online and filled out a request to change dates for August and received an email back denying the request. I understand no one can predict the weather, however, you can predict the safety of your patrons/customers. The reason we we're going was to enjoy the beach and relax. I will never use and highly recommend not booking through Sand Key Realty unless you just want to throw your money away. No respect for human safety.

Extremely unprofessional! Website says 6:00pm was summer hours and I called at 5:30pm trying to reach a live person. Kept getting placed on hold. When I finally reached a guy, he said it was the emergency after care line. I was obviously confused because I was under the impression since it is the end of May they would be open until 6. He was rude and dismissive and interrupted me every time I asked a question. He hung up on me after I asked a question, "When I could reach a live person" and interrupted me again and said, "Someone will call you, thanks bye"! and hung up on me. I called back to speak with a supervisor and was once again rushed by a new lady and got interrupted every time I tried to speak. I then got the manager, Mike on the phone and it was the same rude guy I spoke with before. He was rude and dismissive and did not care or explain to me they closed at 5:00pm (even that it's summer and hours should be specifiedby month and date) and was condescending and once again hung up on me. By then, I was irrate at how poorly I was treated by a working professional that calls him self a "supervisor" so I emailed the owner. His response wasn't great and was quite defensive, stating , "I should respect the after hours, emergency is just for emergencies (which obviously I had no idea since Mike told me they are open til 6:00pm and continued to lead on to that) The owner also stated I should respect the workers and their families after hours (Again, I thought they were open until 6:00pm.)For being a business that takes in so much money, I was shocked they are not more kind and patient with customers. If they are not patient enough to explain to customers the correct hours, they will continue to lose customers. Had they explained the hours from the start, I would have easily called back the next day but they told me they were just busy and it must have gone into the after hours number. Save your time and money. If customer service is this awful and treats you this poor before your vacation begins, it can't be good. :(

I rented Unit #15 at Sunday Villas in Port Aransas and Sand Key Prop managed the property. SO many things are broken, uncean and unuseable in the bottom floor of the unit we cldn't even use it during our 5 day vacation. I spent a lot of my time trying to call them, wait for maintenance techs to show, and follow up with the office when techs just left without fixing anything and not even telling me what they did and cld not do. My main complain is that I wanted a partial refund since 1/2 of the property wasn't useable by my family and we were on top of each other on the 2nd floor. The bottom floor had several water leaks from the AC unit which drenched one bed, the floor, and the futon. They didn't even come clean up the mess. Then a leak from the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom occurred and they didn't come until the next day and again, no one cleaned up the mess. The downstairs bed Leg was broken leaving the bed unsafe and the bottom floor just wreaked like sweaty socks/mold. All they said they could do was to bring some "plug-ins" to help?!? The TV was broken, there were some nasty things left in the dresser drawer, and the shelf where the "clean" extra sheets were stored had something weird in betwen the sheets. Do NOT rent Unit #15 and don't expect anything helpful from the Property Mgt group. I've rented from airbnb for years and always given great reviews and received the same back. I'm NOT writing this for selfish reasons, I just expect to be treated fairly and I don't want anyone else to suffer thru a very disappointing and expensive vacation as my family did.

Beware of this company. I cancelled a reservation with them in early April and was supposed to not be charged the remaining balance because it was more than 7 days. They charged me anyway and will not return e-mails. So now I have to dispute it on my credit card.
