Sals Bronx Pizza

The sauce is alright. Red tangy. Crust is great and crispy. Limoncello cake is refreshing while still rich. We went pretty early on a Sunday around opening. Only ones there. Parking not a problem. Cute interior. Looks like they have live music or a grand piano just for decor.

Hi everyone, I recently moved here to Corpus in 2022. Since I absolutely love pizza I decided to order from Sal's. I expected something really good due to the name Bronx. It turned out to be one of the worst most tasteless pizzas I have ever eaten. Being from the East Coast, (Boston) I think they should remove their deceptive use of the name Bronx ! It's a gimmick, a con to draw people in for their sub par product . Don't waste your time or money this place needs to go out of business !!!

Ordered delivery, which is provided by grub hub or door dash. By the time we got our pizzas it was cooled down enough to where it didn't taste fresh. Expecting eating in would provide different experience.

10/10 best service for a pizza place in town. Also, the owner is an absolute gem. You can also plan events here. The owner was super nice and accommodating, and the staff is amazing!

Service is great - staff very friendly. Prefer of they had fountain drinks rather than bottled soda. Pizza was soooo close to real NYC pizza. Only recommendation I would make is a little more sauce and more pepperoni. Awesome food though!

I'd come back only for pizza. Everything else was kind of disappointing. We started out with the garlic parmesan wings, very small wings and usually when I thi know wings I think of crispy skin... that wasn't it... very soggy and the butter consumed so much of the dish. Didn't order butter with a side of wings...The pesto pasta was mediocre. It wasn't amazing. Once again very oily. Not much flavor. And most of the pasta was cold...? Is that a thing? I've never been served or even had cold pesto pasta. I know the sauce isn't cooked, but the pasta was cold. You would think when the two factors meet (pasta & sauce) it would at least be warm. Nope... The pizza was the star of our meal. The crust was perfectly chewy and good. The pizza was definitely fresh. The cannoli was okay. The outer shell was a little too thick to bite into without worry you might chip a tooth. The ricotta filling was good, not too sweet, but I think Sugarbakers on Santa Fe does it better.

The 4 stars are for the food, as a 'take out' destination. The pizza is great. The one time we ate in the restaurant, we were disturbed by the number of little fly's circulating around each (not just ours) table. One of those ultraviolet lights should cure that, but it needs to be inside, where the tables are.

Friday afternoon . Service, atmosphere and pricing were excellent. The pizza was outstanding. Thin crust and cooked perfectly....even the crust edge. I would have given this restaurant five stars if the dining room had been warm enough for comfortable dining.

Yummy!!! We stopped here (from Austin) and it was great. They clearly do a great takeout order business but service and food in the restaurant were so good! Super friendly, clearly a local place. Hidden gem'
