Salon Divine

I went to Salon Divine in Corpus Christi for a cut and highlights, and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was so welcoming and warm. Alexis, my stylist, took the time to listen to my hair goals and then worked with me to create a look that I absolutely loved. She was so talented and creative, and I couldn't believe how amazing my hair looked when she was finished.I have had my hair done literally all over the world, and this truly was one of my best experiences. The staff at Salon Divine is incredibly talented, but they're also so friendly and down-to-earth. They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, and I left feeling like a million bucks.If you're looking for a salon in Corpus Christi that will give you the best hair of your life, I highly recommend Salon Divine. You won't be disappointed!

I spent in excess of $300 for cut, color and highlights. I have shoulder length layered hair with bangs. My hair was butchered and uneven. The color matching was not great. Very disappointing experience overall. Three weeks later I visited a stylist I knew from out of state when on vacation and she was shocked at the cut I received. Never again will I go here and recommend others to look elsewhere.

Worst salon experience I have ever had. The girl completely chopped the front right side of my hair when she was supposed to give medium layers. It looks like I have 2 different hair cuts.. needless to say I'm letting it grow out. DO NOT GO HERE. I'm mortified. Should have listened to the bad reviews..Also the staff at the greeting desk was not very kind. Made me feel like I was annoying them by showing up for my appointment. Overall just not a welcoming good experience. From the moment I walked in, to the horrendous hair cut. Even though my stylist was very nice. She definitely was not experienced. That's for sure based on my hair cut. Save your hair and your money and take it to a different salon in Corpus.As a follow up, I'd like to thank the Owner of Salon Devine for reaching to me personally regarding my review and giving me exceptional customer service. For that I will raise my 1 star to a 3 star. Thank you!

I saw Breanna at salon Divine and was so incredibly happy with her work. I always have a vision of how I want my hair to look, but rarely get results that match that vision. However, Breanna listened to me and did exactly what I wanted. I am so happy with my hair! Can't wait to go back

I love Salon Divine, everyone there is friendly and helpful! Marisa does wonders on my hair! She never disappoints and always achieves the look I am was going for! She also did my wedding make up and hair which came out amazing! I moved from corpus and I now drive all the way from San Antonio to get my hair done by her. I couldn't have asked for a better makeup/hairstylist!

This place is a gem! I'm new in town and tried this place after two failed attempts at other salons in the area. I am happy to say that Tatianna is finally the one! Scheduling the appointment was a breeze: the man who answered was incredibly friendly, efficient, and able to get me in the same day at my preferred time for a haircut! Tatianna was patient, friendly, attentive, and took her time to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I could not have been happier. Looking forward to coming back and seeing what other magic Tatianna can work with hair. The place was clean, everyone was friendly, prices were on par with other higher end salons in the area (and worth it!), and it had curb appeal. I will definitely be back and have already referred several friends.

I came into salon divine with a rough idea of what i wanted in mind. My current hair was faded blonde and very brassy golden with awful roots Denise was my stylist and she is absolutely amazing!!! I told her I wanted a partial highlight with icy/ashy tones as well as face framing pieces. She did just exactly that and it looked better than i could have even expected.

I came in for a color and cut with Marisa a week ago. I wanted to get rid of some leftover babylights and go back to my brown hair. She color matched me and showed me that I was between a brown and a deep, almost black brown. I told her I wanted to be safe and choose the brown color. She told me she was going to mix in a little bit of the darker color to match it better so I trusted her and agreed thinking it would be a dark brown like my roots. When all was said and done, I was left with black/blue hair. I am way too pale for this to be like my natural color. It's even darker than my work scrubs. I called the next day and asked for tips on how to remedy this. I was told "they did use a developer which was too dark" and to wash my hair everyday and as a last resort to try Dawn dish soap. I did it all to no avail. I gave them another chance and called back to see if there was a safe way for them to fix it and if not, I would like a refund. They came back with "Marisa said that's the color you both agreed upon, but we can give you a partial refund of half the price you paid". I paid a couple hundreds plus tip for a service I hate. I really wanted to just remedy the situation and give them a chance to fix it because Marisa's always done a good job and I truly liked this salon, but I won't be returning now. If my hair wasn't wet right now I'd post the proof but just picture Morticia Addams and there you go

I came in as a treat for myself and my sister in law (in visiting from NY) and loved the cut and style Priscilla did! The place was beautiful and clean and everyone was so friendly. Priscilla explained everything beautifully and did a great job with my hair. My SIL also had a great experience with Walter! Would def recommend!

This was such a belittling experience. I had an appointment with Angie and when I sat down in her chair for a partial highlight and low lights, she seemed confused on how to perform her job. She asked her neighboring stylist to look at my hair to tell her what colors to mix. Angie started to tell me that due to the damage in my hair that my hair could potentially melt off. Unannounced, she pulled a strand of hair out of my scalp and snapped it in half to somehow demonstrate that my hair was damaged but I still don't understand what she was trying to prove. All hair breaks under tension. I backed out of the appointment because Angie had zero confidence in her skills and abilities to do a highlight without melting my hair off. My hair is not damaged, I do have some postpartum breakage but not due to anything else. I was so offended by her lack of professionalism. The front desk booked me an appointment later the same day with Walter, who I was told was more experienced with blonds. I reluctantly made the appointment. A few hours later I get a phone call from the front desk that Walter is "not comfortable" keeping the appointment with me and he is cancelling. Walter NEVER looked at my hair but was making this decision. Angie sabotaged my ability to get my hair done from someone else at their salon. Rude, offensive, unprofessional stylists! I immediately spoke to a manager who was very apologetic and he offered to do a strand test to see how my hair would grab the chemicals. I said no thanks, that's not necessary. It was such an awful experience, I couldn't consciously give them my money but they did refund my deposit. I got into another salon that day and the hair stylist asked me "do you have naturally wavy hair?" And I told her "yes". She said "any hair stylist with a brain can see your hair is NOT damaged, you dried it straight and it's textured from your natural hair style". So not only are the stylists there extremely belittling, they lack the experience to identify the difference in wavy hair and damaged hair.
