We stopped here for a few days on our way to the corpus area. We liked the fact that this place was small, and quiet, and the slips were not right on top of one another. The owner was super friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. We definitely would stay here again!

This is a beautiful, well maintained RV park in the Louisiana country off of IH 10. It is so very beautiful here! The trees are stately and so tall. You can hear the branches sway in the wind. There are paved walking / driving paths, bbq areas, a pool, tv hookups or bring your own satellite dish, an area to fish in, there are cabins to rent. There are also metal tire rims you can make a fire in and roast hotdogs or make Smore's. Yummy!! You can ride a bike or walk through the park. Your pet is a welcome guest. There is a tourist bureau on the highway corner. A video is available to view and there are plenty of tourist brochures to look through. The video gives a history of the area. There are so many places you can go sightseeing at. The restaurants are fabulous! Pat's in Henderson was our favorite!!! We loved the bodain(spelling?) balls. They are delicious!!!!! There's so many great places to go in Louisiana that I wish I had been born here. The Cajuns are wonderful!!!!

My husband and I lived here for 5 years until Hurricane Harvey! Paul (the owner) has completely redone the park with new gravel! He unfortunately lost a few trees around the park but it is still a tranquil, calm park free of the typical problems that normally happen at an Rv park. Paul lives on site and is a hands on property owner who can often be seen raking the rocks and keeping EVERYTHING IN PRISTINE CONDITION! Every once in a while on special occasions there are get togethers at "the barn" where the whole RV HAVEN community usually brings a dish.... wonderful food great times good memories! Truly sad we had to leave I cried telling Paul that our RV was a total loss and we would no longer be living there. If it wasn't for Hurricane Harvey we would still be a PERMANENT FIXTURE!!! We both HIGHLY RECOMMEND RV Haven! Check it out... stay a few days ....rest ...relax... you will be glad you did and you'll be back!!

A small (14 spaces) well-maintained RV park that offers laundry, 30/50 amp service, free high speed internet and professional and friendly owners. I cannot say enough good things about it. If you want a quiet, safe, secure park in the Rockport area, this is the place.

We happened upon this rv park by arriving in january, which is late in the season. That late in the season you are lucky to find a campground that has any vacancies. This park is small (13 sites) & fairly new. (Opened a year ago this coming june 2014). The owner lives on site and definately went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It is a very clean, very well maintained rv park. Quiet and secluded to truely give you the camping feeling we were looking for. Occasionally the campers will gather at the community area/ bbq pit and enjoy good conversation with some very great people. And if your lucky, you can convince the owner to get out his guitar and sing his rendition of some of the good ol' country music like Conway Twitty and George Jones.. It makes for some great evenings while sitting around the fire looking at the stars in the texas sky. If we are back in this area again, we hope they will have room for us to stay there again because they really do make you feel "welcome to the coast". :)
