Great owner and cook. Our Birding group eats there every month. Very friendly staff. Fun watching airplanes land and come to eat!

Great food. Very good menu to choose from. My wife and I came to enjoy a meal. The atmosphere is quite awesome.

Great food and fun location. Watch the planes come and go while enjoying delicious seafood, hamburgers, and fried rice. The snapper and shrimp combo was delicious and priced well for a large portion. Kids all found something they liked too! I would definitely come back next time we're in the area.

I took the family to this restaurant and we were all really impressed. The food was very flavorful and the price was extremely reasonable. We enjoyed watching a few planes taking off and landing. A nice change for Angleton dining.

This off-the-main-road diner has lots to offer. The food is great (best-fried catfish and fried shrimp) locally. the menu also has great selections including some Asian choices like Pad Thai, a favorite of mine.On a sunny day, you may see many airplanes taking off and landing as this is a favorite fly-in lunch and supper stop. The wait staff is polite and efficient. The owner is there most of the time and if not cooking is talking with customers and making people welcome.This place is a good place for good food and a reasonable price.

Food had zero seasoning and the waitress spent more time on her phone than actual service.

The catfish with shrimp was delicious and the service was excellent. The dish came with rice and vegetables that were also very tasty. We had our mini schnauzer with us and they let it in. We sat inside because it was really hot out but there's outdoor seating as well. It seems to be a pretty well known local restaurant a little off the beaten path.

Runway Cafe has the best hamburgers around. I went with my work buddies at noon and we had a great tasting meal. The service was good and the atmosphere was great as we got to see airplanes land & take off as we waited for our meal. I seemed like a very quick turnaround from the order placed til it was on the table. We will go back. Try the burgers !

Brought some grandchildren here for a Sunday brunch. They absolutely loved watching the Cessnas taking off and landing. My 8 year old grandson would yell "you forgot me" He loves the planes.

The menu was very different, lots of fried foods which I was not looking for. Ham & cheese sandwich was okay, fried mushrooms were just okay. There was only 1 server so service was a bit slower. Yes the runway is out the window but it wasn't enough for me. Wanted something more.
