Running M Bar & Grill

Stopped in here one day with the hubby as we were passing through and it was about to start pouring down rain.We had the best service, drinks, and food!Great great great! Will stop back in here when we are passing through again.

Unbearable how bad it was this last Saturday., food made me sick literally.. salad bar ran out of items.. food cold.. service was so cold and uncaring.. no manager or owner there., maybe owners can show up and at least teach servers how to smile. Stay away.

We have been here a few times, I have to say it's not my favorite place due to the service. Not a lot of choices in Gonzales. The times we do come in, seems like we get Peyton. Extremely rude, obviously doesn't enjoy her job and doesn't understand if you are personable and at least nice to your customers, you get a good tip.We sat down and she threw down the menus and silverware and said what do y'all want to drink. We ordered sweet and unsweet teas, gave us the wrong teas. Ended up sweetening the wrong tea bc their was no communication from her on which was which. She Walked by us several times not taking our order. We finally got out of our seats to move over to the other side and she saw we were upset. Then asked what we wanted I told her we are moving to other side. Alexa took care of us right away. If you do come here ask for Alexia She's awesome!

We came during lunch there were 9 of us and it was busy. Service was still very friendly and accurate. It was slightly slow but understandable considering the circumstances. The food is very tasty and a solid choice. There isn't anything super fancy on the menu but I would recommend it and I would come back. Part cowboy bar and part restaurant very roomy overall. Great decor and the prices at least at lunch are very reasonable.

This is a true gem! The first stop on a girls trip did not disappoint. Our waitress, Payton, surprised us with customized Bloody Mary's that were amazing! Food was sooo good and we were treated like we were long lost friends. Love love love this place. Can't wait to come back on a Saturday and stay for the live music. Payton - you rock!!

Came in for dinner on a Thursday. Sat in the bar area and was promptly greeted by Tyla. She was very friendly and knowledgeable with my questions. Got chips & Salsa, a burger, and wings to go. Tyla checked on me frequently and was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be my new regular spot while I'm in town.

Service was great. It wasn't very busy so we got our food quick. I like that they have a salad bar with mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese , pasta , croutons, bacon and crackers. All the food was delicious.

In town from San Antonio camping at Palmetto. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed!! We started out with an ice cold beer and a game of pool. Finished the evening off with a 12oz ribeye, baked potato with all the fixings and a trip to the salad bar. Food was delicious and steak cooked perfect! Very comfortable atmosphere, bring the family. Young lady serving at the bar was also our waitress. She was very friendly!! Thanks for the great time Running M. We'll be back!!M & K Johnson

We just had dinner at this restaurant. For one week out of every year the Junior High State Finals rodeo comes to Gonzales. We overwhelm every restaurant and tend to take over the town. We came and had dinner and it was superb. Due to supply chain issues they were out of some items, but that was okay as the other sides were just as yummy. We met the new owner and was so impressed with his work ethic. He was a young man who was serving everyone and sometimes even cooking. I haven't seen a young person work that hard in a long time. My faith in the younger generation has been restored. Please come eat here and support this young man. His name is Devon. Come have dinner and meet him. You will be impressed.
