Todays Roy's offers much much more for the leisure and recreational boater to the tournament redfish hunters than the early days of Roy's. They are the true outfitter for the salty lifestyle. They have maintained all of our high end reels several times over and fully trust their work. Saturdays snd summers are typically busy but love the helpful staff! COMPLETELY recommend before going anywhere else. We don't typically by fresh bait here so unsure they carry it. But you'll find a great assortment of plastics. One less star - think would be helpful to see the store open a little earlier than 9am for the weekend warriors.

This place has every fishing item you could imagine. From reels to rods to kayaks to clothing. If you need a specialty item they have it. Support Roy's like they have been supporting Corpus!

Excellent staff, very knowledgeable on products and recommendations . They took time to assist me in determining the best guides for a rod that I'm putting together. They are extremely friendly and helpful. They also have the biggest selection of reels, rods, kayaks, bait, weights, lures, and just about anything else you can think of. I have to stop by this store when I'm in town even if i dont need anything. See you guys next trip.

When we are headed out to fish, no one in my group ever crabs about a stop here. Anybody who fishes around here - the Upper Laguna Madre, North Padre Island National Seashore, Baffin Bay or even the LandCut knows about Roy's. Known for their insense selection of fishing tackle and gear - if they don't have it at the big box store down the street, then your best bet is to head to Roy's.My recent stop here included an assortment; some Down South platsics, H&H Spooks (topwater), Unfair Shrimp (clear) and Mid-Coast Evolution poppin corks - all of which they had in stock!Unlike big box stores, the people at Roy's can help you with picking out and locating the gear you need - so hit them up before you head out on the water!

great place for fishing gear. Workers there take care of you. It was jam packed like sardines in there, i have no fishing experience and was looking for a rod. Jared needs a raise, he was busy but found time to help me pick a rod and proceed to educate me in why i needed that rod for the reel I had. When he was helping me out, there was no sense of urgency or trying to hurry and make me pay and leave. I will be coming back to spend all my money here.

I absolutely love this place. If you're looking for great customer service and advice from bonafide experts, THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE TO GO in Corpus Christi. Fair pricing, excellent selections of gear, supplies, clothing, and 99.9% of everything else you'll need to fish, just come here. You will not regret making this place your GO-TO bait&tackle shop. Come with a budget though because YOU CAN/WILL get carried away.
