Support local, this place is a Mom and pop spot for sure. Good service flavorful food. Went for breakfast and the food did not disappoint. While we waited for our food with a basket of chips and salsa we couldn't help but notice the regulars and how owner/manager greeted everyone. A very calm and chill environment.Support local

Visiting my parents in the valley and they brought me here for breakfast. Wonderful service and great prices for tacos. They were very filling and just the right amount to not leave me feeling stuffed. My 9-year old had an American breakfast plate and asked me to leave 5 stars. :)

I like the place. People are friendly, they make great breakfast tacos and the lunches are good. As for Leo, well he is nice guy but you can't believe everything that is said. If you like food, Mexican style, Rositas is a good choice.

This is a really difficult review to write! I am so torn between giving it a 4 or a 1. My husband & I went there a few weekends ago and loved the food. Our first impression was kinda - oh OK, well we hope the food is good and the beer is cold. It's not pretty inside, plastic tablecloths, concrete floor, your grandmother's kitchen chairs, but we were hungry & someone told my husband it was good food. When we arrived we were attended to immediately with a menu & silverware, fresh chips & salsa & then a super cold beer. We wavered on what to order & our waitress explained that the one item wasn't enough for two, but the super fajita nachos were. It did take quite a while to get our food, but it was nice & quiet in there so we talked & drank, & ate the chips & salsa. When our food arrived, it was piping hot & overflowing the plate with abundant chunks of fajitas on cheesy fresh chips. We were extremely pleased with the food & the waitress was very pleasant & attentive. When she wasn't serving us, she was cleaning the closed rooms of the restaurant. Well the reason I decided to gve it only one star is that Wed nite it was featured on our "dirty dining program" for insects. Of course we live in south Texas & it has been raining & most people down here see "insects" all the time, but usually not in restaurants. The restaurant did show proof of extermination, but until they do another health inspection & it gets an A+, we will not be eating there. Such a shame!

Went here with my husband and the service was good and we received our food in a timely manner. However, the food was mediocre at best and the worst part of it was that we saw roaches on our table and on the wall. We immediately stopped eating and informed the server. She apologized and canceled the order. I can see from a previous review that this isn't the first time they have had bug problems. I would avoid this place!

The only reason I went is because my elderly mother is a creature of habit and she likes their food. The waitresses were fantastic, very attentive, very friendly, and they recognized my mother so very helpful. The chips they brought out first were stale. It was 12:30 pm, so they must've been from the night before. The salsa was bland. I ordered 2 chicken enchiladas, and the corn tortillas used were also stale. My daughter ordered chicken fajita tacos in flour tortillas, and said they were good (I didn't taste them). My son ordered a burger and fries, and he loved it. My sister did say those were really good. My mother liked her chicken enchiladas. The rice and beans that came with the enchiladas were okay, nothing special. My niece ordered a grill cheese sandwich (don't ask), and it was tiny. My sister had to ask them for another, regular sized one (which they didn't charge her for). The lemonade was fresh, and probably the best part of my meal. We did see a little roach on the floor near our table, but we were just about done with our meal, so...whaddaya gonna do? There was 7 in our party, 4 adults and 3 kids (who eat like adults), and $82 (including the 15% gratuity) was still too much money for that mediocre food, in my opinion. Hopefully, next time I visit my mother, I can convince her to try another place. I hope to never have to go back.

Good Mexican food, very family oriented. Local establishment that's been around for sometime. Try the specials, they are very popular.

The worst service I have ever had Ever. The servers walk around like they are doing you a favor. The decent food was marred by bad attitudes and "Hold on, I have another table to serve first". WTFWe also waited for 6 minutes, standing at the desk, before someone came to check us out. The attitude of that person was just as bad. Never going back again.

Went there for lunch and they had good service and delicious food. Ordered the fajita tacos with French fries and charro beans and all were perfect. Will go back.

I love the fajita plate! The breakfast buffet is delicious too! Staff is very friendly!
