BEST tamales ever!! Meat to masa ratio is perfect. The masa is seasoned good and so is the meat. I do not like the big thick tamales. Those seem to taste more like masa than anything. These the moistest tamales I have ever had. In my opinion these are way better than Delia's! No comparison!

Had to stop and taste what people said were the best tamales from san antonio to corpus cristy texas. Pulled up to the little tamale hut and got 2 dozen fresh heated beef and pork tamles and one spicy beef and pork. Very hot from the warmer, all three so had to quickly open the spicy, thought they were a very good size maybe a little smaller than normal but not by much the flavor was very good and the meat inside was so flavorful so was the masa. Problem I had was they needed more meat, a couple of tamles we had the last two inches had no meat at all, but the masa had great flavor and very tender. I would buy again. I would say again put a little more meat and you got a killer tamale..

Tamales were okay but need more meat. I taste meat but it's more masa and alittle rubbery than anything. Plus another problem I had is that the tamales were alittle on the salty side need to ease up on the salt just a bit. But other than that they were okay to kill the craving.

I make sure to order my tamales from Rosie's ahead of time, so that they are fresh and ready to go when I head in to Corpus for the holidays. These are the best tasting tamales in south Texas!!! Great size for appetizers or snacks, or as an addition to a typical holiday meal. Very good flavor and not dry, which is a "tamale sin"!

I have seen this place and always wanted to try it. Today we stopped in and picked up a dozen of the hot pork tamales. The flavor is great. Wish they were a little bigger or a little more near. Will still return

Oh god!! how i Have been wanting some delicious tamales.o_0Im from the valley and they have Delia's tamales over there, so once I seen this place I had to stop and see if I found a tamales spot here in CC.I have to say they are pretty good in flavor (:Only downsides are, they are a little on the small side and they don't offer salsa for your order, bummer !!!But maybe I'll return when I am really craving some tamales !

If you don't offer tamales at Christmas without having to pre order you will not get my business

Muy Terrible Tamales. They put too much salt and garlic. They obviously put baking soda in the masa to fluff up the Masa to make them look bigger. Adding baking soda is a big no no for Traditional Tamales. So what you have here is way to much Masa and very very little meat. Big rip off.

Best tamales in south Texas. I know the place in the valley has a cult following, but they are nowhere close to the flavor and quality of Rosie's.

I have ordered from Rosie's so much over the years. They're known for great tamales, We picked up a few dozen this weekend, was beyond disappointed. The spicy beef were OK, the regular (non spicy) were awful and beyond bland tasting. Like no seasoning. The spicey tamales had some flavor however, the regular were not good for $14.00 a dozen. Not sure I will place my Christmas tamale order
