Rosie's Restaurant

Had never been here, but based on previous reviews and photos decided to try it. The restaurant itself is not that fancy but the service is good. When we walked in there was about 3 tables used only but after a while the restaurant began to get full which made me think that the food is in fact good. I ordered the chilaquiles they were good with the exception of TOOOOOO MUCH ONION. So if you decide to order the chilaquiles make sure to let them know not to put a lot of onions. My husband had the Ramires special , fajitas and cheese. The fajitas had a really good flavor and well cooked. Coffee was really good and didn't taste burned. I would recommend this place if you are looking for good Mexican food.

Food tastes like it was from freezer. Bad service. High prices. Glad to see it closed.

Pros: Pulled into a full parking lot and expected a wait- we were seated immediately. Tons of seating inside.The staff was friendly and attentive. Service was quick. Conservative pricing.Cons: The food we ordered was very oily, while at the same time lacked any flavor. I left feeling sick, and my husband who never harbors any food criticism said he could've gone without eating here. The inside is very dimly lit with a darkly decorated interior- kind of gloomy. I had good expectations based on other reviews. However this place did not leave me longing for a return.

Very rarely do I do a live review. I usually experience the establishment then review later. Today I am reviewing from the restaurant table after finishing our meal. Let me start off with saying we got Yelp'd in. From the door we were met by a clean establishment and pleasant staff. Once seated we got salsa and chips which were really good. I asked about the lemonade which I was informed was juice and lemon squeeze. It sounds like a Hybrid lemonade to be honest. Either way it was good. My wife got the enchiladas verdes and I had the Ramirez special. Both plates were warm and fresh. The taste was definitely Mexican, which was a good thing. Overall the food was great and the price was decent. We will be back for sure!

The food is ok. The beans have no flavor though. Not a great place for large groups. If you go, try to get seated in the right side as you go in. The left side always has the worst service. It's a decent place but they need to work on their service. Paying a premium for gratuity and not served well, is not worth it. Our group of 8 waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food with no refills and we had to ask for chips twice and only one basket arrived.

Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try based on positive reviews and pics. The place is cozy but no-frills. No music or TVs, so it's a little too quiet which is weird. The place was full but we got seated quickly. Unfortunately we waited at least half an hour for our food to arrive. The food was good and not greasy at all. Prices are very reasonable and portions are good. I won't eat here again but I will pick up food to go. Not a bad experience but not one of the best either.

First time there and probably my last. Service was horrible, food took forever., server brought us the wrong food. I ordered fluatas and they weren't even crispy they were soft

I gave 5 stars because every other visit we love this place and have been going to these wonderful ladies for 7 years. However, this visit needs to be written about. I ordered two potato egg & cheese tacos on CORN. I do NOT like flour and will not eat it. So she brings my order out on flour. I said no I asked for corn. She shows me the check nope, flour see that's what I put. I said just because that's what you wrote doesn't mean that's what I asked for. I asked for corn. She asks oh so change it? First, is that even a serious question? Anyways I said yes I do NOT like flour tortillas. She walks away. Twenty minutes later she came back. She says, "Was something wrong with the tacos miss?" Really?? She continues, "Oh, you mean you're NOT going eat that? You mean you want me to change your order???" I'm just in awe at this question. First I've already told her from the start I'm not eating that. And that I don't like it. Second, the genuine shock on her face and in her voice when I didn't eat what she brought anyway. Are you kidding me? So you get my order wrong and you want me to still eat it even after I tell you it's something I don't like???? So she came back within less than 5 minutes. How do you even cook two tacos in less than 5 is beyond me. Egg shell taco. That should be the name of it. Egg shells in my taco. That was so gross. Needless to say I left.

Beleive it or not, there's many fine Mexican restaurants in my hometown- Mpls, Minnesota, 1500 mi. north of Mission. But I was teally looking forward to enchiladas verde @ Rosies. Waited 9 mo. since my last visit to the Valley. Pleased to find them still goin strong. The enchiladas didn' disappoint- jus what I needed after flight delays, etc. My 92 y.o. mom had chicken fried chicken. She liked. Staying close by so wemt again today Liver & onions for mom more enchiladas for me. ( beef)Nice menu choices, American& Mexican, froendly serice, breakfast all day, homey ambiance, whats not to like? No cerveza? No big deal.,

The restaurant is dirty!! They need to clean it and also the food is not all fresh. We went for lunch and it took 27 mins to get a burger. Was the burger worth the wait? No!
