Roma’s Italian Restaurant

Walked and was immediately greeted by Autumn. Polite and friendly. It was quiet and music was subtle. Which I like so I can proceed with my conversation. The food was very good. The garlic nots had a lot of flavor. We ordered the focaccia not exactly focaccia bread but still good. I had the lasagna and it was super flavorful and freshly made. Loved it! Great for food , to go is as good as eating in. Food is authentic italian. Pink sauce is exceptionally good with chicken or shrimp , was in shock tonight when an Italian restaurant is out of Italian salad dressing cook was solo , cook, server, cashier ? Is he the owner I don't know?? Good food still!!We'll I found out he was the owner who cooked , brought to car, and cashiered. ps any owner who works this hard probably expects the same from any "employee" resulting in high turnover In Pleasanton , sometimes exceptional pay will yield a exceptional worker , especially when they see the boss working as hard as they are , and managed with respect. We really enjoy Roma's! Amazing food. I usually get the chicken parm the wife likes the tortellini with the vodka sauce and chicken! The bread is addicting! Good value big portions!

Great local place. Every pasta dish we've had is delightful. Try their pink sauce, it's delicious-don't believe me, ask the dishes! (Sorry for that random Disney reference) Can't wait to go back and try their pizza and stromboli. Fast, convenient, tasty- everything you could ask for!

Was horrible frozen food processed chicken a hour wait to get diner one server and what ambiance no stars worst food ever

Omg!! Everything home made and delicious. Staff were wonderful!! You will not be disappointed. Worth the 30 minutes drive from San Antonio.

We discovered this place in 2023. We live in Corpus Christi so when we go to San Antonio, we come here to eat dinner on our way back home. We love this Italian restaurant!!! Everything here tastes great!! If you haven't try it yet, please do!! You won't be disappointed!!

Will not be back. The wait staff needs some serious training and attitudes adjusted. The customer should never have to take their plate from the server and set it down. Food was sub-par. Pasta undercooked, Alfredo sauce was runny, and marinara was minimal on a plate of spaghetti. Topper was one of the waitresses getting in a verbal argument with the kitchen and everyone hearing it.

The calamari was super good and the marinara sauce that comes with it is excellent. I had the eggplant parm and it was very good, and my wife had the chicken Piccata again very good. The service was also great . Our first time here we will definitely come back. I wish they had beer and wine.

I was looking for pizza from something other than a Dominoes or Pizza Hut. I ordered two large pizzas and asked for one with no sauce because I'm allergic to tomatoes so I can't do the marinara. I asked them if they could do very light oil and some garlic instead of sauce. The waiter asked the chef and came back and said no he wouldn't do that for me. At this point I should have listened to myself and walked away. But I was hungry and this place was recommended to me. Anyways I got home and when we went to start eating we noticed that the crust looked like a premade frozen crust, it was tough and not easy to eat, even hard to pull apart. The quality of the ingredients was very disappointing as well. I have had frozen pizzas better than these. By the time the tax and debit card fees were added, it was over $40 for these two 16" pizzas. We each at one pice and stopped there. These unfortunately are going in the trash, not worthy of pizza left overs, which everyone is typically excited for. I haven't tried anything besides the pizza. After them telling me it was a bother to add a little oil and garlic to my no sauce pizza and the pizza being no better than Dominos, we won't be back.
