Never order take out! Soup of the poor was full of oil and arrived cold. Chicken fried steak was full of breading with little to no meat. I called to speak to the manager and was informed that there was no manager on duty . Hard to believe since it mothers day weekend.

I found Rocha's Bar&Grill on the American Airlines Dining website. I stopped by on my way to Lake Casa Blanca. Actually, I saw very old Laredo downtown. But Rocha's is located in a very new and nice area. Alejandro came to me, he took my order. I asked him,' Do you speak English?". He said ' No" I had to say ' Apprendo Espanol'.( I am learning Spanish). This is a bilingual city. We could communicate. I got two breakfast tacos. It was great. I loved! The best breakfast tacos ever. However, I paid $9 including taxes and tips. It was very expensive in Laredo. It is more expensive than a taco at Taco Bell in Houston. LOL. Anyway, it is a very high-end area. I hope to return to Laredo! Adios and Gracious!

Rocha's Bar & Grill opened in October 2019. Since then, I've been really excited to try it. I arrived at 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon. It was PACKED. There was about a 30 minute wait at the door and our party was large (think 17 people large). There was another birthday party happening outside, so imagine how packed it was. We put together some tables on the patio and made conversation while we waited for someone to come to our table. After about 10-20 minutes, we were greeted and asked if we had been helped. We had not, so someone was sent out and our drink orders were taken. It took another 20ish minutes to get some of our drinks out. I ordered water. This didn't come out with the order, so I had to go to the bar to retrieve it. After 45 minutes, almost everyone had received their drink order, and we were given menus to look over. I loved the mix of dishes. The menu ranges from breakfast-y foods, brunch, seafood creations, and more. I was in the mood for brunch, and their chicken and waffles was calling my name. When our waiter arrived for our brunch order, I ordered my plate but added some eggs to the side. Because our party was so large, I didn't expect to receive my food within 20 minutes. I knew it would take time. However, I received my food 2.5 hours after I had ordered it. I was one of the first to get my plate. I believe that everyone had their plates by the 3 hour mark. Now, let me tell you. The chicken and waffles were perfect. The breading and seasoning on the chicken was fantastic. The waffles had a solid no-too-sweet taste. The eggs were buttery and perfectly scrambled. If I'm being honest, that plate was gone as soon as it was set down on the table. I definitely feel like Rocha's Bar and Grill has the potential to be the number one go-to spot in this city if the service can get better. They are still super young, so I have no doubt they can do it.

Food was decent, service was super super slow and food took forever to come out. If you're not in a hurry then no worries. Place was clean but inside was kinda chilly. Waiters don't really check up on you often even when food takes forever.
