I'll report back on this next year when they're finished with their construction, but in the meantime, it sits between the bay and the wharf and the views are beautiful and you can sit and watch dolphins jump, and play. For free! You can also do a little fishing there if you like

This is an awesome park. The play equipment is really and the main thing is supposed to be like a pirate ship. My daughter loved playing here. The park is located right on the water so it is neat to see the boats go by. This seems to be a popular fishing spot too. The best part is they have a tall lookout you can climb overlooking the water. We climbed up here and saw dolphins almost instantly! This is definitely a must visit.

We met our fishing guide here at 6:15am at the municipal dock located in this park. The park is very well maintained. Plenty of portable restrooms, as well as permanent building restrooms. At 6 in the morning, the portables are fresh and stocked. By 3 in the afternoon, not so much. They are located at the dock. The permanent ones are further in by the pavilion and fish house. The harbor master building is also there. There is a children's playground, benches and tables. You can sit and watch the boats come and go. Plenty of parking for cars or a truck with attached boat trailer. It's a very pleasant area. Go there.

This park was amazing! Dolphins playing in the canal at dawn and dusk. Fantastic playground for the kids. Tons of people fishing. Nearby bathrooms! Beautiful views! Covered picnic tables. We saw more dolphins here than we did on a previous dolphin tour.

This place was amazing! You could see tons of dolphins jumping out right in front of you as well as sea turtles. We ended up fishing and found a spot amongst everyone else that were fishing . We caught multiple sheepshead and it was a great little spot!

After reading all the great reviews about this place, I had to find Roberts Point Park. This was really a lovely spot and one my boyfriend and I probably enjoyed the most. You can take the ferry to the other side which we did not do but instead came before sunset with the dogs, walked around and met some really lovely people that go there regularly. They told us that you could see the dolphins swimming and they will come up close enough by you...Sure enough they were swimming right along the edge where we were standing. My boyfriend saw one catch a fish. It was such a peaceful lovely moment to be amongst such beautiful creatures. I fell in love with Port A right there.

This is a beautiful park that we had the privilege to drive through on the way to get on the ferry to head back to the mainland from Port Aransas. The line to get on the ferry snakes you through this nice park that's right on the water, but has no real beach. It's full of grass, soccer fields, playgrounds, and places to sit and watch the ferries go in and out of the port. There are public restrooms here- just don't jump the curb trying to get to them! This seems to be a popular spot for fishing, because you're not allowed to fish off the ferry. The park is on a little isthmus, with the road for the ferry running the length of it. It makes a long wait for the ferry a bit more pleasant to see the wildlife in the park, and people out having a good time.

Great place to watch the dolphins.Grab a blizzard or cone at the nearby Dairy Queen, and head over to Roberts Point Park at sunset. The dolphins are fairly close. You should also catch a ship or two passing by,Benches are available near the shore and in a lookout tower. There is also a small pier for fishing. To get there, hang a hard right past the ferry line.Take the kids. Good, free fun.

One can go up to the observation deck and see dolphins as well as pelicans. We did this as well as the dolphin boat tour at Scarlett Lady. You see quite a few more on the tour, but if you're limited for time this is worth a quick stop.
