Fair fairgrounds. Well, this place is a big facility right on the other side of the highway from Robstown, and next to the outlet mall. They've got a big open area outside, along with big fairground hangars that would be good for a gun show or a livestock show. They have concrete floors and can be reconfigured into all sorts of different manners. If they're going to invite people to come out to their field and have a rally, I wish they'd go and fill in the holes that exist around the field. They have many ten-twelve inch deep holes, large enough for a foot to fall inside. Someone should go and fill these holes in so nobody gets hurt. I almost ate it. The fairgrounds did a good job with port-a-potties. They were clean, but could've had more facilities for hand washing. The signage could've been better. The concessions seemed pretty ick. Nothing looked remotely fresh. Everything was expensive. I wasn't too wild about this place. It was mostly dusty and dirty. I won't go out of my way to return.

We were here for a convention and were in the Arena area. It's clean and there's plenty of parking. It's well air conditioned and seems to be well maintainedThe first thing you'll notice is that there's not a direct way to get to the arena from the main entrance. I can see why, because normally you're not going straight to the arena area, you're going to go to the bleachers to watch whatever is going on in the arena.The concessions are normal like any other sporting event, it's a little high priced and the food isn't that great, but you're not coming here for the food. I probably had the worst frito pie I've ever had. The staff is nice and will go quite a way out of their way to get what you want. We ran out of staples and one of the guys tracked us down some. Good on y'all.All-in-all it was fine.
