Reyna's Taqueria

After a few breakfast tacos to go visits & one dine in lunch experience, I decided to finally review Reyna's Taqueria. Breakfast tacos could either be very good or sometimes disappointing due to portions. I don't eat breakfast tacos often, but I do get disappointed whenever the tacos are skimpy. That's exactly what happened to me at my most recent visit at Reyna's Taqueria. So consistency would be my feedback. Prior to my last visit, I've really enjoyed the Carne Guisada tacos. It's one of the best I've had in San Antonio. So next time I order it, I gotta say "don't forget the beef!?". LOL! Hopefully my next breakfast taco experience wouldn't be as inadequate?! The Chicken Monterey plate was very good on the time I dined in for lunch. I did request charro beans that time, but unfortunately no charro beans were prepared that day. Regardless, I still enjoyed my meal, it was very flavorful. The Chicken Monterrey plate was not on the menu, but it was the special of the day. I was informed by my server the daily specials vary. The dining area seems to be well maintained, clean, staff members & servers are usually attentive & friendly. Over all, fairly good food, I will certainly go back to try out more menu options!

DONT GET THE TORTAS! It was COLD, ham was DICED, uncooked & the cheese wasn't melted. One waitress was rude & had RBF. Only friendly towards the males LOL.

This is a great place to come in the morning,and lunch .Food is always homemade n fresh so the wait is worth it.The favorites are always a hit enchiladas,carne guisada,barbacoa are outstanding.rice and beans are great just like your grandmas homemade recipe.Located off 410 n south on rd and connected to a gas station,it's worth a drive HIGHLY RECOMMEND...just as good as the #1 restaurant on hackberry

Love this spot. Very low key but the food is great and the people that work there are great!

Food is always great! The entire staff is always nice and professional. Definitely recommend--especially the enchiladas and carne guisada!

I love this place clean neat An the people that work there very friendly the food right on point I was over whelmed how my food came out very delicious I would not chose no where else this is the place to be for friendly An very good food try it out you want regret it. Number #1 on the south side I say.

So this spot is hidden away in a quite side street. The food was ok enchiladas were cheesy and tortillas were good they serve breakfast all day which is a plus for me. However the beans seemed like they came from a can and the rice was a little bland. The wait staff was courteous and did keep the place cleaned. Very good spot for large groups with plenty of space
