Reserve at Saratoga Apartments

Do not rent here unless you want them to steal your money. After I moved out, I received no communication from the complex. Never received my deposit or a list of "damages." 3 months later I was contacted by COLLECTIONS regarding unexplained charges from the Reserve. When I asked them to send me proof of the charges and reasoning for them, they said they would look into it and never got back. They are dishonest and if you read other reviews you'll see this is a pattern for this company. Steal deposits, send to collections and wait until the tenant has no choice but to pay or ruin their credit. No ethical landlord operates this way. On top of this, I had a male maintenance man try to FORCE his way into my apartment unwarranted during my lease when I was naked and in the shower. The managers only explanation was they MIXED UP a work order and sent them to enter my apartment without notice. I have the email for proof! They have had more than 3 different property managers in less than a year. Incompetence speaks for itself.

I lived here for 1 year, property is nice but the management is not very kind. A few months in I accidentally underpaid my rent by $25 and they charged me $100 late fee. They would not have a two conversation about it just adamantly insisted that I must pay and nothing could be done about it. Upon move out I turned in my 2 gate clickers (1st one was free 2nd required a deposit). They wouldn't refund my deposit claiming they gave them out for free sometimes, my fault for not keeping the receipt I guess. There was miscommunication on my move out inspection and the one person working couldn't perform it that was working that day so I just left without it. They emailed me the results and charged me for microwave being dirty and cabinets being dirty. Nothing could be done again as I swore I cleaned that place high and low. I always left the balcony door open so I let myself in the next day to find one small spec on the microwave glass and a a cabinet with 4 sealed whataburger ketchups inside. Nothing that requires a $75 cleaning fee, I removed both issues and they still wouldn't allow me to not pay the fees.

Management is horrible, the two woman managers (i believe lauren and angela is the name) are extremely rude to tenants and also fail to notify tenants about fees, until we have no choice but to pay them. These apartments made me never want to rent another apartment again, don't come here.

Nice apartment, but service orders can take forever or not get done at all. Leaving after 6 months

Please do not waste your valuable time applying here. My neighbor who wanted to move there just barely escaped over 4 weeks of there process. Joking to keep her sanity, the only things missing was a pack of cigarettes, a hanging 60 watt light bulb and the good cop bad cop routine. They are not the only complex in Saratoga.

Terrible place, do not move here. My family member had their vehicle stolen from here and they did nothing about it. They let anyone move in and police are constantly arresting criminals here. They charge you for unnecessary fees like having your trash can outside but they never even pickup the trash. The management is terrible they never answer the phones. The maintenance takes forever to fix things and when they do they are not done properly. There is constant theft on the property. If I could give them zero stars I would. Save yourself the hassle and don't even bother with this place. The apartments are super outdated and the appliances are no good.

Stay away management is the worse there lazy they never want to help or even acknowledge you THE WORSE PART is when we moved we wanted to do the walk with them an the manger was "busy" we emailed an called for 3 month wondering what was the deal just to find out that they did the walk the next day and sent everything to collections with no email or letter to know us know the Balance we even called Multiple times to ask our balance an constantly being told they don't have it ready. Collections had told us that this is something GVC is know for an they always do this I REPEAT STAY AWAY, Our lawyers working to get this resolved for us Please Stay away they will not help you at all just make it worse for you

Moved into my apt not even a month ago. Moved in on Friday did a walk through and everything looked nice, new carpet paint. upon moving in started to see cockroaches. pulled out the fridge stove and dishwaasher and there was food moldy food trash dirt dust miscellaneous items and dead and alive roaches. Called the front desk told them about the roaches and they said they will have someone there Tuesday. It's been 3 weeks. had a heavy rain storm and woke up to my rug in my apt soaked in water. Called the front desk and they said they will have someone there to shampoo and dry the rug (didnt say it needed to be replaced) and said they will put a maintenance order in To fix where the water is leaking. It's been 7 hours and no one has come to see the apt or inspect it. Let's see how long they take and I develop respiratory issues from water soaked moldy rug they are taking their time with. i do not recommend this place. If I didn't sign a 12 month lease I would move out. They take their time and don't follow through. If it's not done within the week filing a complaint With the better business bureau. this is unacceptable . Will keep you updated.

Be careful!! I give one star because I cant give zero! We lived there for 7 months, we reported a bad smell on carpet when we arrived and they didnt change it, just cleaned. At the time we leave the apartment, because we were too busy with a project we had we didn't wait to do the walkthrough with the people there, that was our BIG mistake, after they didn't return our regular deposit nor the pet deposit and besides that they charged $860 more to replace the carpet! When we told them the carpet was like that since we got the apartment they didn't listen or cared, they kept collecting and even reported to the credit bureau hurting our excellent credit! Definitely not recommended unless you want to get robbed.

Extremely rude and unprofessional service. There were at least 4 managers change during my 2 years stay and everyone seems confused and don't care about residents. They expect to return the apartment in newer and much cleaner then what they give it to you. For minor scratches on wall due to bed head and sofa they sent me $1200 for cleaning and paint services. They will find ways to rip you off! Not really secure place for family as gate is mostly broken and there were more then couple of theft incidents during my 2-year stay. Again, the management doesn't care. Please stay away!!!
