When I picked up my handgun, this tall white guy told me, "Pay me my money and we're done. Needless to say, I have never set foot in that ragged gun shop since. It sickens me that no matter how kind you are to some people, they remind you of how much your presence disturbs them just from the sight of you.My middle finger to you, sir. Well, if you're looking for foods with a long-term shelf life or ideas on what you would need to survive a week, two weeks, even MONTHS with no electricity or running water, you should stop here and take a look.The owner is very knowledgable on the products he sells as well as preparation needs. He gave us great advice on the storage of water and on the best foods to keep on hand should city services or commercial conveniences not be available for a while.If you want to get a kick, check out the "can-o'-bacon"!! Yeah, it's a little pricey, but it's 2 1/2 - 3 lbs worth of REAL bacon preserved to last FIVE YEARS! There's a HUGE variety of freeze dried and dehydrated foods stored in cans that will last up to 25 years. They've also got ready "kits" of different foods. The prices are only slightly higher to what's available online but, that's okay, I don't mind paying a little more to shop local. You can't beat the service and convenience like this online.They've also got medical kits, water purification stuff, self-defense and preservation equipment. It's a great little store - a good, local place to start with your prepping needs.We'll be regular customers - and, yes, we ARE customers; not affiliated in any way with the owner. I just think he's smart and feel his store is valuable to our location. Hope it takes off.

Ready Reserves in Corpus Christi, Texas, is a great place for the pursuit of a firearm. Customer service was outstanding! Hours of operation are perfect! and the coffee is phenomenal! This is the time of the COVID-19 pandemic and the shop is still in full operation! They are still taking precaution with sanitization and medical face mask. I want to thank the owner and the employees for their time and service, bless you all.

They have everything you need to be prepared for the bad guys or to be prepared for anything! If they don't have what you need, they can get it.

I've only gone in here a couple times but the dude who runs this place is hilarious AF. I can see how he might not be everybody's cup of coffee -- but for me, I think he's awesome. He reminds me of my grandfather. First time I ever went in here he was looking for something for me, tripped over a box of something and let out a string of profanities -- I laughed my butt off. Other people didn't seem to enjoy it. Guy has decent prices, not high or low. About average. Coffees pretty damn good too.

Great Gem tucked away on Corona Drive! If you enjoy good conversation, food, survival items, and a nice little diner this is the place! The owner and his daughter are great people that have mastered the art of customer service. No pressure to buy, no pressure to do anything. They answer questions, and have a wealth of knowledge. If they do not know the answer, they will get the answer for you. If they do not have a product, will get it for you. Highly recommended! Oh yeah great sandwiches.
