Ramada Hotel Bayfront

We stayed in this hotel three years ago, and it was okay. Not great, but not bad. It has gone downhill since.First, we were part of a block of rooms for a festival which was taking place across the street from the hotel. There were flyers on the door to the hotel's bar... there were flyers on the door of the hotel's gift shop... the dance competition for the festival was taking place INSIDE the hotel... and the clerk knew nothing about it.The place had a stale smell to it... pretty much every where we went. After about a day I realized the smell was that of tobacco smoke. It was every where. At one point riding the elevator it was bad enough I had to get off and take the stairs.We wanted to use the luggage cart to take a bunch of our crates to our room on the 10th floor... the clerks had no idea where it was stating 'Sometimes people take it to thier room and don't bring it back.' I honestly don't think they had one... no one knew where it was all weekend.I will say the view from the 10th floor was amazing... though we weren't on the bay side of the hotel, the ball room on the 10th floor did face the bay, and with the doors unlocked we were able to go in and look out at the sights. The ball room looked like it had been under construction for some time... or maybe thats DEstruction.On our last night there the hotel was occupied with lots of kids who had apparently been to prom. We ended with a room full of them next door to us. At 2AM we were awakened by the sound of yelling and breaking glass outside our door. My sweetie called down to the lobby and she was told the police were already on the way. I was looking through the peephole in the door and the police were already on the scene - proof the staff had no idea what was occuring in the hotel. After the police left, the partying continued with no interruptions from downstairs, and when we left, the area outside our door and the elevator was still covered in broken beer bottles.This hotel has seen better days, and apparently, they are never coming back.

If I could give it no stars I would. I visit a lot during the months of May till September about once or twice a month anyways last year wasn't so bad but this year I am definitely not going to stay at this place. I book the hotel by a third party if I stay so many nights I get a free night anyways on one of these stays I extended a night the third party charged me the correct amount and then the hotel charged me. When I checked out I made sure they were aware that I got charged twice for the extended stay and they said I was going to get a refund anywhere between 3-5 business days. I call the third party to confirm as well. 7 days pass no refund. I call the third party was asked to call the hotel since it was their part to refund me. I already called 4 times and I always got the same response I'll look into it I'll call you back give me 30 minutes. They never call me back. Honesty they suck!! I have not got my refund at all and it's already been 2 weeks. Honestly don't stay there it's not worth it plus they won't refund you the money with the new owners they have.
