QC Meat Market

QC Meat Market is the prime example of a properly ran quality general market. It has everything the local residents need, and really good people running the place. The deals on the high quality butchery are hard to resist. They also have many other day-to-day necessities. One of my favorite things to pick up when I'm swinging by here is their Bistec Marinado. Sauté it, grill it, do whatever to it; it is so good!

I'm Mexican from Mexico lol this meat market gave me flashbacks! The meat quality is insane and the taco joint attached to it is by far the best tacos I've had in Texas! This is actual Mexican food Do you yourself a favor and come check them out! I'm from Houston by way visiting corpus

So the meat counter may have flies buzzing around it and yeah this place is in a rough part of town but the meat is unlike any other you'll find in Corpus. Also if you're looking for authentic Mexican food items this is the place to search. The meat counter guys are nice even though they are often pretty busy. With 5 lb Ribeyes and 30 mini limes priced at a dollar the hacienda can't be beat. Plus HEB is right next door for whatever else you need to get the BBQ going.

I went to this meat market and found it to be very clean. It is a full service grocery and meat market. Plenty of workers happy and able to help you. Great selection of meat and the bonus is they make their own sausage. I got Jalapeno and cheese sausage and it is on the smoker as I write this. Can't wait to taste it.
